Poor duh Bears. They’ll get it right one of these years. :(

Each week when Caleb throws a few TDs in thr wnd half after doing nothing all first half....bears fans point to "see hes just fine"

lol.

At one point the 9ers had 301 yards to thr Bears 2 yards.  How could it be?  They equipped Caleb with all the fantasy football weapons!

CW’s stats aren’t that bad for a rookie QB. Duh Bears focked up by not shoring up the OL and firing the HC after last season.

Yep.  Colts fans are doing the same delusional stuff with Richardson.  5 minutes to go and he has 40% completion and 85 yards, but OH OH OH he looked good on the last drive and they beat the PATS!

Although I do think Williams will work out.  He just isn’t the Superman people claimed he was.

No they arent and im not claiming he sucks.  But much of his stats come on thr 2nd half.  A lot of garbage in there.  We were all told how he has awesome WRs.  Has a TE.  Got swift.  Have good defense.

They do need OL.  But read a stat that hes like one of the top sacked QBs even when his line blocks.  From a clean pocket he still finds ways to hold onto the ball and take sacks.

Oh the Bears are the Bears.  Clueless still.  Wonder what coach will sign up to be part of that.

The Panthers are way better (still not good), but light years better over the last 3 weeks than they were in the 20+ games with Bryce Young.  That team still has a lot of talent issues, but Young doesn't look like train wreck he did last year.  Williams isn't as bad as Young was, so if he makes similar strides next year, he could be pretty good.  We'll see what happens.

Bryce Young was pretty good yesterday. He looked better than Hurts throwing the ball tbh.

He's been like that the last 3 weeks.  Getting benched did him justice.  He had time to sit back and watch without the pressure of learning on the fly.  Some guys are fine with being thrown into the fire, others... maybe not.

Hurts is quite overrated.  He doesn't stink, but many make him out to be better than what he is.  Hurts is a perfectly "adequate" QB who happens to have a great line and great weapons.

Hurts has played much better in the past but he’s been totally ordinary. There’s something to be said for not turning the ball over and picking up first downs with your legs. But I don’t think Philly goes far if they don’t open up the downfield passing attack.

I'm not worried about Williams at all.  I think he's their franchise QB.  There are other issues they have than need to be fixed.

I think that was more due to teams figuring out how to defend Hurts.  It's up to him and the team to figure out how to adjust to that.

If he doesn't get some better coaching, he is going to turn into every other high QB draft pick that fizzled because of coaching.

Bears fans just gotta hope that happens with them and not another team.

Caleb would be having an amazing year on just about any team other than the Bears.  The OL is terrible and the coaching sucks.  He made an incredible pass for a TD and it got called back for holding.  Just trash.  Please sell the team.

Agree 💯

They must of forgotten what Payton Manning and Troy Aikman did in their first year. Far worse than what Williams is doing.

Williams has all the tools, hell be just fine.

Williams is a God send for that franchise. He keeps working on things in the right way, says the right things all the time, and has shown all the traits you want in first year QB.

How many QBs come out and put up his numbers on a team with the worst offensive line in the league, under 2 different head coaches, and 3 offensive coordinators in their first season in the league?

It seems Pete Carroll even has come out and said he has interest in the Bears head coaching job. They could probably use someone like him or Vrabel to set that tone in that building straight.

He thinks he can run around in the pocket like he did in college. Looks nice sometimes but most of the time he’s going to take a sack because unlike college, nearly everyone chasing him in the NFL is fast.  He’s much better out of the pocket.

So would you be on board with Ryan Poles staying in place as the GM?

You arent sure?  In his tenure he has like the worst record of any GM in Bears history.

Its not Caleb by any means hes already "great" to Bears fans.  Its the coaching, team, leadership....yet you arent sure on getting another GM?

Do you trust Poles can land the right head coach?  What if they focking go with Pete Carroll?  Lol

It also wasnt Fields for many Bears fans.  Many fans defended him as a good QB on a bad team till the very end.

Yet Poles should stay?

If I was a Bears fan I would hope that is just to start the process.  But apparently they would like to meet with him.   It would be hilarious.

They should simple find their coach and work out a new GM with him. Poles is a "I'm staying out of it" guy. He refuses to accept ownership of his failures. He had the great trade, but then after that, he's hurtin'.

Problem is, they need to find experience just to set things right. Probably Vrabel or Carroll. Whether they are the best candidates or not for next year is not the issue. The Bears need to stabilize their internal workings. No one there knows what a real head coach looks like.

In the 104 year history of the Green Bay Packers, their longest losing streak has been 9 games. It only took Caleb Williams 16 weeks to top that record!

Caleb seems to be exactly what he was at USC.  Holds the ball forever.  Kills drives most of the time, and occasionally makes something magic happen.

If you just add “wildly inaccurate” you’d have Anthony Richardson.  Let’s trade!

The Steeleres got the last two chicago first round Q.B's so it is possible they get him next.

The Bears drafting a QB in the first round is a lot like Charlie Brown hoping to finally kick that football.

I think caleb was a good choice.  But they did nothing with their OL.   They need a coach fast to help with their off-season
