HTH 93 Posted September 16, 2024 PPR league: Game one - 6.4 pts Game two - 1.6 pts Anyone watch these games?
Ray_T 740 Posted September 16, 2024 well, he was largely invisible. saw one bad drop on one play (cant remember which game) I think hes just getting older and he may not be the same player. I think he is still fantasy relevant, but hes just not the #1 TE in fantasy anymore. No shame in this given his age. its just his time on the top is over. thats all. weepaws 3,152 Posted September 16, 2024 I think it’s the te slot has a whole compared to last season.
Nomad99 699 Posted September 16, 2024 With Hollywood out & now Pacheco, you would think he'll be getting more work.
nobody 2,557 Posted September 16, 2024 My perspective is they're saving him for the playoffs.
GobbleDog 981 Posted September 16, 2024 15 minutes ago, nobody said: My perspective is they're saving him for the playoffs. Might be some truth to that, and could partly explain his production drastically decreasing down the stretch last year... from week 8 til end of regular season, never broke 100 rec yds and scored just 1 Td. Though did well in the playoffs. His 10.8 yds per reception last year.... lowest of his career. In two games this year... the average is 9.8 yds. About to turn 35 with a whole lot of millage and declining stats... definitely cause for concern.

I dont think hes good enough to beat the other teams top corner anymore. (yes lots of teams wont bother with a LB to cover Kelce. most use a corner or a safety)

BufordT 427 Posted September 18, 2024 Mahomes is freezing him out because Kelce's gf supports Harris. Mahomes' wife is a Trumper. Notice they don't sit in the same luxury box anymore.
TBayXXXVII 2,482 Posted September 18, 2024 I think too many off-field distractions.
polecatt 474 Posted September 18, 2024 Passing numbers as a whole are down considerably so far this season compared to recent seasons. The reason? Who knows? My guess, and that's all it is, is that they don't much of a preseason or summer camp etc. any more, so what we're basically watching right now is the month of August in past years being played as the regular season. I would expect things to pick up about the time we start getting bye weeks.

vino 29 Posted September 19, 2024 Here's my perspective.. They're trying to hit anyone BUT Kelce. Not that they aren't looking but they aren't FOCUSING on him. Honestly. Kelce is still there, but their offense has been Kelce for years and, imo, they're trying to build a different identity. They KNOW Kelce will be where he needs to be but they finally, it seems, have others that are "getting it." Kelce, overall, is a stud.. But, I don't think, for the majority of the season, that he's a number 1 TE POINTS wise. Imo. He'll flare up here and there but the time of "TE greatness" is just out of reach. We have a lot of solid WR atm, for whatever reason (speed, catching ability, etc) and, I think, it's taken over the first quarter of football atm. I could be totally wrong, that's just how I've felt recently.

They know Kelce wont be there in future years. they are trying not to be dependant on him. when the chips are down Kelce will be there, but its also a case where kelce may not be the player he was too.
