How do we know that's even him?  But even if it is, so?   What he said is clearly legal.  They won't be arresting him.  As he noted, they wasted a lot of time and taxpayer money "investigating" something they knew was not illegal.  That's simple harassment.

Of course I do.  The problem with us having all these relatively absolute rights is that having them requires us to act responsibly with them.  I try to do that but many, especially in this day and age, do not.  But it's constitutionally protected speech and those cops just wasted a lot of time and money for the sole purpose of harassing a citizen availing himself of a constitutionally protected right.  Now your turn.  Do you have a problem with Feds showing up on someone's doorstep to harass them for doing something they know is legal and constitutionally protected?

But no, I don’t have a problem with Feds showing up on someone’s doorstep to investigate if they have evidence he wrote that post, to see if they could determine if they thought there was a legitimate threat. I mean, isn’t this similar to the conversation around school shootings and how the perpetrators are often known to law enforcement?

Not sure why they didn’t give their name though.   I kinda doubt he would have talked to them even if they did, but who knows.

Another thought I had in the it's real category is that because it's a consensual interview they probably also didn't want the interview, investigation to be broadcast either. I looked up Kaufman guy after and he seems to be, to put it nicely, a very loud voice. If it were a real investigation they would have already knew all about him and most likely were there just doing the due diligence.
