Easily the Lions. They choked like Barack Obama gargling on Michelle's gizzz.

Man, I don't know about you, but I'd be neck deep in that musty teabag, her and Harris, too.

Well, you have zero standards, so it’s not saying much.

I was really rooting for the Lions this season. Maybe next year.

Not as bad as those two trannies. Their stating defense consisted of back ups.

Going into their divisional round game against the Washington Commanders, the Lions have 16 players on injured reserve, two more that have been ruled out for Saturday's game and one listed as questionable.

The Lions could look much different next season if Ben Johnson leaves.

Lions and its not close.

If past form holds, this offseason Jameson Williams will do something stupid, someone else will get hurt/mamed in some freak accident, and a key player or two will retire perhaps a year earlier than expected.

Lions were running on fumes with that defense.  They were way too beat up.  The NFC North was also overrated.  They matched up with worst division AFC South to pad their records. I thought the Eagles would get the Lions.

Steelers lost 5 straight to end the season.

Dang it - you beat me by seconds.

Yeah, the Bears have to be up there. Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze & DJ Moore and they lost 2 more games this year than they did last year with Fields.

I don't see it that way at all. He had a couple WRs, that's it. The o-line was amongst the worst in football, the coaches were clueless, etc.

There was no plan, they just made Williams play Hero Ball every down.

agree w all this. funny that the nfc north went 0-3. for the lions though, I think it was the injuries ulrimately.

Cant totally agree with this.   They played like crap on all sides.  5 turnovers.  No focus on the run, when Washington was terrible against the run and it looked like Gibbs was gonna have a career day.

This lost probably cost Campbell coach of the year too

When Detroit lost a D.B to injury on the first or second play I asked myself will that finally be the straw which breaks the camels back.  Yeah he was not one of their stars, but they, the stars, were long since injured.  Rather, he was what they ahd left and he was now out.  I wondered when will the cumulative effect tip them over to the point where they simply cannot defend.  Turns out they culdn't stop Washington and so that may have helped induce some silly calls on ofense feeling they had to do to much just to keep up.  Frankly had they just run Gibbs more and threw more to LaPorta and St. Brouwn I think thy could have kept up fine, they did not need a flea flicker to a W.R. throwing then downfield.  Still, that has been their personaluity for the past tw plus years.

As for the Packers loss, well they two were substantially injuried going in and suffered major injuries early.  In the Packers case they showed they are more than a physical match for Philly even with the injuries.  Unfortunately they ae not a mental match for St. Anna's School for Exceptional Children's co-ed flag football team.  They hold, they line up offsides or in illegal formations, they cannot figure out how to not have linemen 5 yards downfield on passes and they forget assignments at inopportune times.  Lafleur is great at scheming things up and at making adjustments.  He loses himself in then passions of the game and makes some poor decisions, and he has not instilled discipline.  I know the team is the youngest in football, but they make fundamental errors I would not accept from an 8th grade team.  I cant decide if Lafleur is the coach for them.  Great coordinator, but dammit get some discipline or get out.

The Vikings, i did not see any ready made excuses for their performance.  They finally regressed to the mean.

sure, you're not wrong either. Goff's fumble, the pick 6, ugh the one before the half were classic bad Goff. It just seemed like the D had no chance of stopping Wash, they just hit the wall, along with Wash playing inspired as of late. 5 possessions for Wash in 1st half, 1 TO on downs(could have been a FG), 3 TD's, and a FG. I felt like they had to score, so they pressed, and Goff failed.

Steelers limped into the playoffs and weren’t a SB contender even before their collapse. Winning 14 games and losing in the WC round is the most Vikings thing ever.

It has to be the Lions.

To be different I will throw Cincy out there for an honorable mention.

Not a Burrow fan at all but they have one of the best QBs in the league.  A top 3 WR.  Perhaos the best #2 WR.  Hendrickson had 17.5 sacks.  Overall pther than Higgins missing somr games early....they seemed to have been fairly healthy.  And they missed the playoffs entirely.

Cincy was neck and neck with Baltimore in terms of odds to win that division.  In fact on some books they were the favorite.

Although it's already been mentioned by the OP, last weeks loss to the Rams. Now that we saw the Redskins offense literally tear apart the Lions defense limb by limb last night, our loss to the lions 2 weeks ago while only being able to muster 9 points seems much worse. Maybe 2025 will be the year :)

I was at Giants Stadium in 2001 for that game. Damn Collins was dealing. Saw a lot of great stuff in that old stadium.  That was the tops.

As a lifelong Vikings fan, the only satisfaction I got out of it was putting $100 on the Giants when I saw that the Vikings were favored :)
