That's an interesting direction to take in response to my post. The trashy denizens of the GC (you and I included) throttle this place with things that we claim to care about that have little or no effect on our "bubbles." What's going on in LA does not personally affect me, I live 1300 miles away from it. Most of the guys pissing and moaning about trannies here have never seen or spoken to one IRL. I could go on.

I don't know if your second paragraph is true or not, I didn't ask them "how they felt" about the assassinations that happened in their neighborhood. That would probably be poor etiquette given the circumstances. One would assume they were upset about both that and the ruined party. But they are Trump voters, so I won't pretend to understand their thought processes.

Asking wouldn't help.  Everyone lies and says they care, but if you just watch people's actions they don't.  

In the end, I only care in so far as I have a compulsion to call out stupid shìt for some reason even though the best course of action is to just let stupid people be stupid. 

For instance the BLM stuff really triggers me in that it's objectively retarded.  No one is hunting black people as was claimed and it's easily provable just looking at shooting statistics, but we have to sit here and pretend there is validity to the claim.  Now trained sociopaths like politicians and business execs are smart enough to just parry dumb shìt like this by pretending to care and using the retardation to their advantage.  That's also why I have distaste for politicians and business execs too.

So apparently this guy had gone to two other politicians homes as well but at one they weren't home and the second he couldn't do anything for some other reason.  This guy could have done a lot more damage if they hadn't caught up to him as quickly as they did.  He was just going to go down that list one by one.

Trannies are a good case.  Trannies are being inserted into our perception.  Wokies are so desperate to be woke that they think they need to jam them into mainstream.  Once that happens, the Overton window takes over for some people and they freak out.

It doesn't help that when trannies are presented, there is usually a lot of sexuality injected as well and while their is sexuality as part of normie media, it's probably like what? 10%? with the lgbtqia crowd, my perception is it's closer to maybe 75%.  Christians have been trained to hate anything but missionary position heterosexual sex so that will be offensive to them.  Also doesn't help that trannies are usually nutterbutters.  Probably hard not to be when you're messing with hormones and grew up thinking your gender is wrong.

My observation is that most of the noise around this issue is actually coming from right wing media and talking heads; those with an inherent interest in creating division. That does not mean that bad things aren't happening, it just means the few instances of bad things are being put on blast to make them seem more pervasive than they are. There are of course nutballs on the left that feel a need to police language and behavior that declare everyone that doesn't use requested pronouns a bigot, but they can fuk right off. I don't want biological males competing in female sports. But it's not a big issue to me simply because the instances of it happening are very, very few, and should be handled on a local level, IMO.

They said that he was outside a different politician's house after the first shooting, but the intended victims were away on vacation. A cop rolled up and tried to engage, but he wouldn't. That cop went to the house to knock on the door and at some point the perp took off and headed to the next victim.
