They threw snowballs at Santa Clause 45 years ago.

It's a fact. Philly fans are the toughest and most loyal in all of sports.

The fact that they've never won a Super Bowl makes it even more impressive that they have such a loyal and rabid fanbase.

Can you imagine if the NFL rightfully awarded us the Super Bowl win in 2004 after we found out the Pats cheated?

We'd be first no doubt. :pointstosky:

Yo know what's hilarious? Hayward is a free agent and everyone immediately says "Great fit for Boston". Knicks say they would trade Porzingas. First thing I hear this morning "Would be a great fit for Boston".

We all know who the most racist sports town is.

It was the most upset Celtics fans have been since the civil rights movement. :(

Emory College could have saved money by letting monkeys pick helmets off the rack, and would have saved money.

Oh yes, because idiot Eagles fans take any criticism personal, that makes them the best. You are no different. When I tell you Wentz sucks a fat baby's dlck, you take it personal. And then you will try some attack on the Bears like I take it personal, but I don't. My fandom doesn't blind me. I guess that means I am not a super fan

Actually, I laugh about your opinion of Wentz. Since it's different than every football expert I've heard. I am far from a blind homer. I am right there criticizing players on my team when it's warranted. Try again.

Bull ! The Lions have been awful for years and we still support and sell out that focking stadium every Sunday.

It's easy to be a fan when you win. Try losing for 60+ years.

LOL Yup. Me and everyone else who knows football.

He's no Mike Glennon, that's for sure.

What?

Detroit had a blackout since defeating Washington at Ford Field on Oct. 31, 2010. The game’s announced attendance at the 64,500-seat stadium was 46,329.

The Lions had four games blacked out in 2008 and four in 2009.

So the lions had four black outs the year they went 0-16

Four black outs the year they went 2-14

One blackout the year they went 6-10

Can you really blame the fans those years? One playoff win since 1957.

Fact is we are probably idiots but we support this loser team. All the teams with the "best fans" have recently won Superbowls. The lions can't win a playoff game.

I'm not saying we are number 1 but we should be higher on the rankings.

About Wentz, the jury is still out but the trend is upwards. A rookie QBs job to me is to do two things. First is to show he doesn't flat out suck. That means have some kind of success or at least compete and not single handedly bring the team down. Next is to flash some hope of being a true difference maker. That may mean having a huge game, leading a team to victory in a tight spot single handedly or just overall impressing, win or lose. I think Wentz did both those things and had a fine rookie year.

About the list, the op post was misleading. He suggests that Philly edges out the Biants for top spot, but in fact they were third. Dallas and NE were top 2.

It has to be browns fans.

It's easy to be a steelers fan. A pats fan. Cowboys or packers fan.

But some poor bastard who has had browns season tix all these years is a loyal mofo. Especially considering the whole browns bailing on Cleveland and winning a couple of super bowls as a division rival.

I both pity and respect a browns fan. They get my vote.

To me he seems decent too. I mean his rookie season was mixed results, which most rookie QB seasons tend to be. He was much more pro ready as a D2 QB than Goff was. They also had pretty poor weapons.

Jury is still out on him, for focks sakes he has had 1 year so far.

Packers not even in the top 5? This list is crap dude.

It was an article on best fans, not most bandwagon fans.

They seemed to nail the bandwagon with the Cowboys and Patriots, ironically.

No doubt. Top 5 bandwagon teams...

Cowboys

Patriots

Green Bay

Pittsburgh

Seattle

But I'd guess Pitt and GB have the most fans who have never even been to the state (let alone city) of the franchise.

I would say Dallas and Pats bandwagons are much less likely to visit the stadium. Lambeau is iconic and most any Packers fan makes that trip at least once.

Bandwagon is going to attach itself to any elite team that wins a SB, and more so if they stay good, that is pretty much a given. Besides Cowboys fans. They all hopped on in the early 90s with superbowls. But they stayed on during their 2 decades of suck because they don't watch football. Just toothless guys wearing Smiff jerseys screaming how bout dem cowboys.

9ers were pretty bandwagon in the 90s from what I remember.

During Peyton mannings entire career, tennessee was flooded with bandwagon colt and bronco fans wearing #18. Tickets for titans colts games always cost more on the market than any other.

So? You're a Dolphins fan. Such a phony. You wouldn't know Jerome Brown from Downtown Julie Brown.

I like to be ahead of the curve. While everyone circle jerks each other on how good they think Wentz will be, I will have written him off and thus have no chance of being burned by him

Fans are weird. I'm a titans fan and spend a lot of time at the titans forum.

There are a small minority of people there (maybe 30%) who hate mariota and are convinced he sucks. They call him Mary, mariflota, etc. it's pretty clear the dude is a legit QB, but no reasoning with them.
