Do I dare ask?

I do not subscribe to all of these, just presenting higher rationale to bash lebron:

1. the decision

2. magnifying the creation of super-teams (originated recently by celts)

3. acts as GM- seems to control personnel decisions (including coaching fires/hires)

4. generally leaves his team in disarray (mia was still had talent, but dropped significantly)

5. calling for fouls (my personal caveat to that is that he does this after initiating contact himself offensively and defensively). he pulls the heisman, charges down the lane (sometimes traveling), and wants the foul.

6. stays in a less competitive eastern conference (the knock on his run to the finals)

i personally do not bash him for losing to GS, as i see them as a better team. i think he does amazing things on the court and while i find the style of play boring, he was "successfully" able to run the clock down and generally execute. he has made some tremendous shots throughout the years.

I used to be in the Lebron whines too much about fouls camp, until I really started watching him and seeing how many times a game he gets fouled and it's no call...same thing used to happen with Shaq. Both were so strong that guys would foul them but it didn't affect them much, so no whistle.

I sent buy that. Lebron has cried like a baby multiple times when he wasnt even touched.

NBA Stat of the Day - For 78% of current NBA players, LeBron James has been in the finals every year they have been in the league.

Wow.

I hated the decision. It was one of the dooshiest moves in sports history. Not that he made it, but the way he made it. Have your home fans tune in to prime time tv to watch you bail and clown with your new teammate?

So for a while I was very anti Lebron. Hes redeemed himself in my eyes though.

It appears Kevin Love will play this series, 50/50 for game 1 but all signs look to him playing at some point.

I'm coming around to the idea of having Love come off the bench with the second team. 1.) he gives scoring punch off the bench with the second team that needs that if LeBron is not on the floor and 2.) you can't really play both Love and Tristan together against this team. I think it'd be a savvy move by Coach Lue

Also, Korver and JR Smith are going to have to get going. They need to have some of those blackout games where the hoop looks as big as a hoola-hoop.

Jeff Green and Larry Nance Jr. Defensive keys on KD. They have to stay in front and contest shots. Maximum hustle and effort for 48 minutes.

Look at the tape of Houston's switching and contesting defense with maximum effort boxouts in the paint the first halves of those games. That's the blueprint.

LeBron will probably have 40point triple doubles and nobody will bat an eye. But for the Cav's to win the rest of the team has to have B+ to A+ games and the Warriors C plus effort or worse collectively.

Everyone was. Remember when he had the reputation for not winning and there were all those no ring memes? Once he got past that he was smooth sailing.

Don't want to start a new thread for the finals but who do you have winning which games?

I've got Golden State winning Games 2 3 5 & 6.

Probably won't but I can't see LeBron doing his normal feel out game 1 like he does quite often. Think he tries to put his stamp on this series early.

Although after seeing LeBron in those shorts coming in I think Golden State maybe wins tonight by 1000.

I literally have no idea what to expect.

It seems to easy to pick GSW in four or five games. If Ive learned anything about sports it can be way more unpredictable than we expect.

GS in 5, gentleman's sweep. First 2 games may be close, relatively speaking.

GS will get blown out in game 3, they won't take the series seriously until after that whoopin.

I get that but one guy can't do it on his own. Ask Jordan pre Pippen/Rodman/Kukoc/etc....Or AI in Philly. I don't think GS wants to forfeit home court advantage. Unless Cleveland gets significant contributions from Hill/Smith/others, they lose. I'd hate to be betting on those guys showing up given their inconsistency throughout the season and playoffs.

Cleveland wins game 1.

Warriors win games 2 and 3.

Game 4 and game 5 will be split, but unsure which way.

Warriors win the series in 6.

Pretty obvious really.

If I had to wager a significant amount of money on who wins each game Id echo this post.

Wow.... That isn't good for Klay.

He walked off fine. Thats the good news. Never know if its a MCL though.

JR completely slipped though, nothing intentional.

Steph is on point tonight.

Hes shooting well. All the more reason JR knucklehead Smith shouldnt gamble for a steal with two seconds left and leave him wide open. Oh JR
