But it was the apnea folks. The medical examiner still listed the cause of Fisher's death as “undetermined,” according to the AP. On Monday, the AP said Fisher had cocaine and traces of heroin, opiates and ecstasy in her system, although it was unclear what effect the drugs had on her death. Her assistant also said that she had a couple of apneac (sp) episodes while on the flight, so I am thinking that during the apnea, the cardio system was depressed and just couldn't recover enough for her to start breathing again. Coupled with sleep apnea, which also can reflect impaired respiratory drive, oxygen levels drop on CO2 levels in the blood rise.
