I've heard that same excuse made before, even in cases like a 13-year-old girl who was raped, strangled, & for whatever sadistic reason, hung at the top of the stairwell in her home by an illegal alien. That event took place on the same day as Columbine, so it never got the coverage it deserved. That girl was from a town only about 20 minutes away from me and it changed me forever. If it turns out that this guy was/is in the country illegally, the victims family should be able to sue the state of California, or more specifically, any California politician past/present who believes in sanctuary state status, & those responsible for giving him a CDL license
