It didn’t suddenly disappear. The pressure caused by Covid finally receded. I am not claiming that added security on the border doesn’t make a difference. Of course it does. Governor Landry had been trying for six months. He called Trump and within twenty four hours the permits were a done deal. Between fourteen and twenty one thousand jobs were created with with this instantly with a phone call. Starting income is seventy grand to one hundred forty Grand in a very poor to to middle income based parish. This what leadership does with influence and experience in business dealings.
