1) You don't know that to be true. It POSTS a tweet from the same guy but doesn't say that Tweet is the source of the guy's claim about the kid being trans. 2) Even if you don't want to believe it, I posted it in good faith. You could have just said "thanks but I have doubts about that story." I would have been fine with that. But you had to be a snarky doosh. So be it. I don’t even know what I am today at age 50. Conservative? Liberal? Dysfunctional? My daughter is gay. And I love her g/f in a heartbreaking paternal way. I don’t hate the trans; I pity them. I believe racism exists, but at a limited personal level rather than something systemic. I want as little government as possible. I want women not to have abortions, but I don’t know if I want it illegal. I respect workers and the uneducated. I support a form of social security for the young. I want pure religious freedom. I like some form of some kind of nationalized police. I want taxes slashed. Unchecked illegal immigration is reckless, emotions withdrawn. I think I’m just dysfunctional. But I know one thing— I can listen to other ideas, present my own, disagree if necessary and say “I might be wrong.” Maybe I should run for president. -

They do. You need to do more research. There is gender non-conformity and gender dysphoria. Trans and some LGBTQ fall under dysphoria and are in the DSM-5 and considered mental illness, or having mental disorder/diagnosis. The sad part about gender dysphoria is that you only have to show symptoms for 6 months in order for them to diagnose you and say you need treatment. -
