This isn't about me or my politics. It's about a baby that disagreed with a new law, and decided to move 2 companies and all of his employees 1600 miles across the country because of it. That is childish and dumb, and yes he's a baby. With complete disregard to all of his employees, he doesn't like the law, so they all have to suffer. They have to move to a state where abortion is illegal because he doesn't like a law that protects trans kids. How petty can you get? And it's personal for him. He doesn't like trans people. He disowned his own daughter for being trans. That's being a baby. My outlook on things is that people shouldn't let their hurt feelings or hatred of others get in the way of doing what's right. You think that's wrong with America? You're clueless. A real leader, a father, does what's right for the good of others. They don't change the course of thousands of lives for the worse over petty disagreements and personal hurt feelings. -

I don't think saying he was bullied is to try to draw sympathy, but rather maybe trying to find some motive in this (such as in mass shootings). And yes, if he had been trans, there would be another 10 threads on Page 1 of this forum about that.

You know as we watched that leaked internal discussion at Disney where they are talking about putting alphabet content in all their movies, one speaker after the other mentioned how they each have trans kids and I thought "What are the odds that each of them have trans kids?" It occurred to me that the odds were 100%. These well indoctrinated ideological freaks are literally incapable of raising normal kids.

But this raises questions. If Caitlin Clark has caused leftists to pretend to follow the WNBA with the same enthusiasm with which they pretend to follow soccer, why didn’t they pretend to follow the game when all the most talented players were black? And now, when some black player whose name they don’t know because they never watched a WNBA game in their lives, fouls Caitlin Clark by smacking her full force in the back of the head, should leftists side with Caitlin, since she’s the only reason they’re pretending to watch the games in the first place, or should they Google the name of the black player and side with her so they don’t have to admit it was their flagrantly racist behavior that made black what’s-her-name clock Caitlin because what’s-her-name has been playing her nameless heart out with a work ethic and skill that raises women’s basketball to a level nowhere near the men’s game, and no one’s been watching her all that time, because she’s in the WNBA. And what about trans people? If a hulking male like Lia Thomas is allowed to go swinging his dingus around a woman’s locker room so that leftists can pretend there’s no advantage to being a male athlete in a woman’s sport, why didn’t the leftists pretend to watch women’s basketball before Caitlin Clark so that women players could be paid the same amount as men with money that would exist if anyone was buying tickets to their games instead of the men’s games where the people play better because they’re men? Now if a black MAN were playing in the WNBA, and HE fouled Caitlin Clark by hitting her full force in the back of the head, then for the next few years, while Caitlin Clark was regaining consciousness and learning to walk again and use dining utensils with dulled edges so she didn’t cut herself, she could be replaced by another black man who would foul other players, until the entire WNBA was populated by black men making the games worth watching. Then all the leftists’ dilemmas could be solved by watching black men play basketball and calling it the WNBA thus supporting black people, trans people and women’s sports which will finally rise to the level of men’s sports by being sports played by men. That would make all the leftists happy—until China, Russia and Iran slaughter everyone because Democrats suck at running the country. -

I always get a kick out of different groups having a problem with certain comics. Its focking jokes for crying out loud. If you dont like the jokes then turn the channel. How many Italians piss and moan over an Italian joke? Ever see a Polish guy get up and punch a guy for telling a Polish joke? What's with some of the other groups? They know its supposed to be for laughs right? Its not gays or trannys or women who have a problem with these comics. Its certain people who want to cry. Because plenty of people from those groups have no issue or even come out to those shows to laugh. But its masked as "trans community feels this" or "women feel this". No its certain people who don't understand it is a comedy routine. Random comic: "lets see here we have a tranny over there, plenty of women, some hispanics in the corner, blacks all over, a guy with no limbs by the aisle, a few drug addicts over there, nerds in the far left, steroided bros in the front.....what shall I talk about? The man at the counter, whom she later learned identifies as transgender, informed her that airline policy prohibited her from bringing her son’s car seat on board, “which I knew to be untrue,” she told National Review. After waiting for a while, Longoria pleaded again with the gate agent to let her party pre-board. The transgender employee rolled his eyes, Longoria said, and handed her a boarding pass. She replied, “thank you, sir,” which upset him. While Longoria was allowed to board with her child, her 73-year-old mother was held back, she said. Struggling to break down her baby stroller and arrange the car seat to get her crying son situated, Longoria asked a different flight attendant for help, noting that the staff member at the front refused to let her mother pre-board with her. “He asked who and I said, ‘the man at the front,'” Longoria recounted. “He told me they were a woman. I said, ‘I’m sorry, [I’m] not well versed in pronouns. He said, ‘well she’s wearing a dress.'” After Longoria again asked the flight attendant for help, he told her to get off the plane, informing her that she was being barred from the flight due to her alleged bigotry, she said. The operations manager told her she may be banned from all future United flights because she made an inflammatory comment about the flight attendant’s gender, she said. “It’s so confusing these days to keep up with everyone’s pronouns and sometimes you can’t tell by outward appearance what they are identifying as,” she said. “I was not trying to harm anyone.” Asked for comment, United denied Longoria’s expulsion had anything to do with so-called misgendering an employee. “A party of three traveling out of San Francisco today was not allowed to board following a discussion about having too many carry-on items,” a spokesperson told National Review. “The matter was resolved and the customers took a later United flight to finish their trip.” A video Longoria posted to Instagramappeared to corroborate her claim that the staff kicked her off due to supposedly inappropriate language. In the video, Longoria speaks to a United official, whom she identified as Gabriella, who told her she had to get statements from witnesses to “fact find.” Gabriella said it was the captain’s decision to get her removed. When Longoria pressed for an explanation, Gabriella responded that she was being ejected “for what came out of your mouth.” “I need you to know that because of this verbal altercation that you had with my staff, you got yourself put off this craft,” she said. “And it was confirmed by the captain. They heard it all.” Longoria asked again what specific conduct or words warranted this action. “I don’t wanna put words in their mouths because I still need statements, but some transgender comments were made, derogatory comments about being a bigot not being on the aircraft. This is what I heard,” the United employee said. After being escorted off the flight, Longoria implored staff to let her family get their luggage off the plane because they needed medication that was stowed away, but United refused, she said. After waiting in the airport for three hours, Longoria booked new flights with American Airlines for $1,000. Neither have I. Someone suggested the show because I am a fan of Jensen Ackles even though he’s barely in it. the odd thing is I usually get annoyed and easily see the woke crap. Like umbrella academy for example when it wasn’t enough to have the trans actor playing a character, they had to make the character trans as well in season 2. I never really got annoyed with the boys because everything is so satirical. After season 1 or 2, gun to my head I would have said the creators of the show were more conservative and making fun of heavy liberals. But obviously that’s not the case. -

My bad on the championships. The headline said it, but "WA's first transgender high school track champion ..." and my brain just saw the first trans state champ... And I did run track and I know that, that's why at this point I have "transitioned" to prohibiting them until much more research is done and we can decide how/if the playing field can be leveled -

So I did a little more research on the subject this morning. This kid winning was the first time a trans athlete has won any HS state championship. Also, because of privacy laws the exact numbers aren't known but estimates put the number of trans athletes competing at less than 100 nationwide in H.S. (I don't know if that includes former girls in boys sports). Leads me to a few conclusions. The first being this is being completely overblown as an issue. There are probably more trans threads on the board just this year than there are trans athletes. My 2nd conclusion is that being that number is so few, I wouldn't be opposed stopping the participation of trans-athletes until a workable equitable solution can be found. I'm not in favor of any discrimination, but I'm also not so strident that I think we need to change the rules to accommodate such a small group of people. IMO, this is really a non-issue being used to inflame conservatives. -

Again, to be clean, by impact - I'm talking about the total number number formerly male trans athletes competing in women's sports. Just anecdotally based on this board, I'm pretty sure I'm hearing about every dang trans athlete issue that comes up. And even if TikTok has decided to censor a video, which is their right, there are millions of outlets that will spread the news everytime some fe(male) wins an event. I said nothing about it being sporting to have a biological advantage and did state " it clearly seems unfair in most situations." I was talking about the self-esteem that comes with participating in sports in general. And please see above about what I meant for impact. For instance I played basketball on the JV team that went 3-17, we were terrible. On top of that there were only 7 total players on the team and I was the last off the bench. On team with only 7 players, 20 games for 640 total minutes of basketball, I scored 10 points. But I still learned the lessons of teamwork, being dedicated and gained the self-esteem of knowing I worked every day during that season and gave it my all the entire time. That's what I mean by self-esteem. I'm not talking any self-esteem(which would be more ego) from the fe(male) who beats her competitors by 50M. On top of gender dysphoria, a person would also be dealing with a massive narcism problem to be proud of that accomplishment. The issue that I have is that I believe sports can be beneficial to all for a variety of reasons of character building reason. I hope that someday there is some kind of equitable solution so that everyone who wants to compete can AND it's on a level playing field. So until that solution presents itself, I'm left with . That doesn't mean I don't see the problem or am ignoring it, I just don't think the solution is black or white.
