It’s absolutely true that being married, and having children, makes most people wiser and more responsible. Which is why I believe society should encourage families, home ownership, etc. The notion, however, that increased wisdom will (a) make you conservative and (b) turn you into an obsessive anti-trans bigot is pretty amusing. -

I had to work. Anyhow I made my argument. I don’t see the need to repeat myself. But I would like to point out a trend when it comes to political correctness/woke: eventually my side always wins. For example back in the day a lot of white people went around wearing blackface. There was even a popular radio and TV show, Amos and Andy. Then some blacks and liberals started complaining about it. The reaction was exactly the same reaction you read in this thread: defensive, denying there was anything wrong with it. Then there would be a few blacks who would come out and say they didn’t care, they weren’t offended, etc. And angry whites would use these blacks as evidence to say “see? You’re making a fuss over nothing!” But guess what? Nobody wears blackface anymore. Because the liberals won out. And that’s the way it should be, and the way it will be for gays and trans, and for red paint too, and all the rest of it. You need to realize this. If you find yourself opposing these changes, then you’re on the wrong side of history. -

The moderation that I would like to see the most is just not having 10 threads on one thing, as someone earlier pointed out. Seems like this is kind of happening. Having a dozen trans threads on the front page is ridiculous. I'm glad to see my Biden and Ukraine threads still trucking along. I created them with the mindset that these would be two ongoing discussion topics for quite a while. I'm glad to see the Trump indictment stuff pretty much in one place to shop for the latest news and comments. I said this two decades earlier, but one thing I really like about this place is how so many are plugged into breaking news. When I was in a newsroom, I'd see things here before I saw them on the Assmegociated Wire. Let's build on that. Speaking of bannings, it's been nice to not have that insufferable fly Peefoam around. -
I believe you're correct for a certain percentage of Christians. I also believe a certain number of people completely discount God, religion etc as though it's a complete farce, when there's no way to know. I consider myself a Christian I guess. I haven't been to church in 10 years other than someone's baptism or confirmation. I don't know any bible verses or care to. I donate $0 to the church. I do donate to others, usually kids or family's with kids. Zero chance I donate to the church. I decide if and where my money goes. And it pisses me off when people push their sh*t- whether it be religion, gay, trans, etc on me. You do your focking thing alllllll you want. But in the background. Don't focking push it on me. You focking scmhuck religion-pushers or gay pushers. I don't need to know about it. I don't talk about church etc. I don't care about church. I don't talk about religion. But I don't argue against it. It might be true. There's NO WAY I can know the answer. I don't/can't discount what possibly happened as far as humans coming to be or what comes after death. Like, how do know what did or didn't happen 2,000 years ago? How does anyone? What's your any "anti-christian's" reason for thinking its all a farce? Because if it's not on Tik Tok it didn't happen?

Let's contrast that with the Jacksonville shooter. Jacksonville shootings: What we know about the racist killings In the white guys case, his race and motivation are prominently revealed and highlighted in the articles about the story. It is the main point of emphasis because it supports their false narrative that it is racist white guys who perform almost every mass shooting. In the story you posted, late in the article they hint that the person may be trans, but then they say "wasn’t clear whether the suspect identified as a man or woman." And when asked about motativation, instead of pointing out the obvious anti-Christian/white bigotry outlined in the manifesto, they say “There is some theory to that, we’re investigating all the leads.” They cover up what is clearly known. Now Google/YouTube has given Crowder a strike and pulled his video, which in reality is just good journalism and would be treated that way in the case of some racist white guy. There is no rationale justification for the penalty and censorship. Ok, so what. We all know it is still the racist white guys who do all the mass shootings. Biden tells us this. The media tells us this. You hear it all the time when some snooty nosed leftist student opens their mouth. Well, except the stats for the last 50 years say otherwise. Between 1982 and October 2023, 79 out of the 148 mass shootings in the United States were carried out by White shooters. By comparison, the perpetrator was African American in 26 mass shootings, and Latino in 12. When calculated as percentages, this amounts to 53 percent, 18 percent, and eight percent respectively. This almost perfectly aligns with the racial Demographics of this country. In fact, depending what they mean by white (if they include white (Hispanic heritage)) in their definition, whites shooters would actually be under represented. So this false narrative we all accept that racist whites guys overwhelmingly account for mass shootings, is a fuking lie like most everything our government controlled media and their big tech allies fed us and censor us into believing. -

This current event has been amazing to watch play out from a sociological POV. 1. Far Far Right Wing Antisemitics are aligning with Far Left White Guilts in that regard. They finally came together on something. 2. Spinning off #1, the amount of Trans and LGB people and groups I’ve seen on the news rallying not only for Palestine but Hamas has been incredible to see. The epitome of a “Who wants to tell them?” moment. 3. Then you have the Colleges and Universities. The sheeps clothing came all the way off. Wow. Not even hiding it anymore.
