We should all pay homage to AirNegroMcNair by obliterating our neighborhoods tonight with fireworks tonight...just like good Amerikans should. :overhead: and because SteveFuckingMcNair would have wanted it that way.

look at the typo at usatoday.com

http://blogs.usatoday.com/thehuddle/2009/0...and-killed.html

Nashville police are confirming reports that former Titans and Ravens QB Steve McNair has been killed.

McNair, 36, and a female were found shot to death, spokesman Don Aaron told reporters this afternoon. Aaron said that police found McNabb and the second victim inside a residence, the AP reports

No one is yet in custody and Aaron said he could not give details on what time the victims died.

Update, 5:50 p.m. ET: CNN reports, based on an unnamed law enforcement official, that the female victim was McNair's girlfriend. CNN also says, "Witnesses said he was a frequent visitor there."

Update, 5:54 p.m. ET: McNair had just opened up a new restaurant in Nashville. He was rebuilding his profile in the city in which he played for the Titans until 2005. The Tennessean has more on the restaurant.

All jokes aside, really sad news. Was one of the best QBs in the league in his prime, former-MVP, was a class-act really helped out the community. Definitely a shocking and tragic death.

Wow, it's weird, yesterday i was thinking about him and how i had him on my fantasy team a couple years and how he was always an underrated player :dunno: and it was a really random thought too. I will now inform whoever randomly pops into my head that death is upon them.

oddly enough when i saw my bro today he asked me if I saw that mcnair and priest holmes were on pros vs. joes.

double oddly enough yesterday a buddy who knows i dislike timmy chang/colt brennan brought up the chang arrest which

got me going about mcnair being the top stat performing college qb ever, not those jokers.

Is Alcorn St. really considered 'college football'? Should those records count?

Female shot once in the head...McNair shot multiple times. Yet the police are ruling out murder-suicide. Was Steve banging some other guy's woman?

Well if you go by the way he played, I wouldn't rule out that he overcame multiple gunshot wounds, even to the head, took the

gun away from that broad, shot her, then spiked the gun, had a beer and relaxed on the sofa not realizing how bad he was hurt.

:dunno:

McNair was both tough and injury prone. He was tough because he played through his injuries, but the dude was made of glass. Always banged up.

Maybe the NFL will honor him by having each team place him on their injury reports for week 1.

made of glass? how about you go play like he did and run for 3600yds as a qb and take those hits and see how you get by, eh?

Steve young played the same way and was also tough, but also missed games. being injury prone applies to guys like cadillac

williams who can't get out of bed without tearing up his knee.
