PackYourNut 47 Posted October 27, 2010 Over hyped... if you're a betting man, fade the Heat until December! It's gonna take a while to gel.
drobeski 3,061 Posted October 27, 2010 They'll do ok, they don't have to play the best team in the east everynight.
Cruzer 1,996 Posted October 27, 2010 This Heat team will go down as one of (if not the) biggest over-hyped super team busts of all time. King James is a physical freak of nature with unbelievable talent and a knack for making $$. But he is not a leader, nor as to date - a winner. Would not be surprised if he Karl Malone's and never wins a ring.
The Moz 72 Posted October 27, 2010 Heat will win at least 60 but IMO Boston is just a better team -- better PG play and much better post play - and Allen n Pierce while not as good can still hang when it counts. Boston comes out of the east NOT Miami

We have found something to agree on. Until Miami gets a legitimate center, they will struggle against teams that have one. Even if they get by Orlando and Howard, they still have the Lakers and Gasol/Bynum to contend with.

Cuz he's won the East before already, so he coulda stayed in Cle and done that.

CantTouchThis 23 Posted November 8, 2010 FYI, the real best team in the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers, are 7-0 with their best player at about 70% and without another key player. The Lakers are so deep it's just stupid.
cbfalcon 828 Posted November 10, 2010 So Miami is looking at starting the playoffs on the road at Cleveland of all places. Pretty much the most underachieving team of all time IMO.

RLLD 4,282 Posted November 12, 2010 They wouldn't even qualify for the playoffs if they were in the good conference You mean, since they aren't in the Big Ten or the SEC they should not get a title shot?
CantTouchThis 23 Posted November 12, 2010 They wouldn't even qualify for the playoffs if they were in the good conference We were joking about this at poker. What if they aren't even a top 3 seed? What if they only win like 50 games? Would that be considered one of the biggest let downs, or overrated teams, ever? I mean, they are in the east where 40 wins gets you into the playoffs, but wow, the Heat look very mediocre. Even i had them winning 68 in the regular season just because it's the regular season. I think we see why they won't win a championship yet though. Major lack of size, strength, and depth up front. Someone like Boston or Orlando will crush them in the playoffs. The Lakers would sweep them.

When guys like Emeka Okefor (26 pts., 13 reb) and Kevin Love (20 pts., 6 reb.) are putting up points against your "bigs", then you know that you have no inside presence. Bosh should not even be considered part of a Big 3.

Bosh should not even be considered part of a Big 3. Bosh is a pussy. Big Baby and KG were raping him down low last night. He wants to play facing the basket at 10-15 feet, and shoot 17 foot jumpshots. And LeBron still doesn't have anything close to a mid-range game. Just pound the ball into the court, bull your way to the basket and make a pretty layup. A couple of his 3's last night..... One hit the side of the backboard. They should really be known as the "Big One and a Half" since Bosh is garbage now and Bron and Wade can only play at about three quarters of what they're capable of with each other.
