Happy Semi-Annual Time Warp$#@!

Any way we can tie this to racism or some other woke nonsense so we can get rid of it?

Here's a shot:  POC rely more on public transportation which runs on a set schedule, so they are more likely to miss their ride than a rich whitey who can just drive a few minutes later.

Maybe it's another time warp caused by the DST time warp!  :o

Don't like going back an hour.   People who get excited for 1 more hr of sleep are weak.

Going back an hour means the bars are open an extra hour.

We should set the clocks back every week and then once every 25 weeks, skip a Tuesday. 🤔

Michigan passed a law that keeps us on DST. However it says Ohio Indiana, Wisconsin and a couple other states need to pass a similar before we change. Dumb

So you all... gain an hour, right?  Clocks move back?  Enjoy your one extra hour of drinking and watching football.

We didn't actually gain any time. One hour clock change does not affect actual time. Time is a constant, never changing.

Quote

Time dilation is the difference in elapsed time as measured by two clocks, either due to a relative velocity between them (special relativity), or a difference in gravitational potential between their locations (general relativity). When unspecified, "time dilation" usually refers to the effect due to velocity.

I know that skids does this, but since yesterday was Halloween and RHPS is usually shown in theaters and with DST ending on Sunday...

I just played this and learned that my wife knows all the words.  It's fun learning something about a woman you've lived with for 30+ years.

Also, since you all time warp, my football starts at 11 now instead of 10.  I actually like the 11 start a little better.

@realDonaldTrump

The Republican Party will use its best efforts to eliminate Daylight Saving Time, which has a small but strong constituency, but shouldn’t! Daylight Saving Time is inconvenient, and very costly to our Nation.

No no no! We want permanent DST. Nobody wants daylight while sleeping or sitting in an office or classroom. We want more daylight in the evening.

Did it happen? My phone said 7:30 when I woke up but it feels early. Yes my Google is broken.

"It's a 50/50 issue, and if something is a 50/50 issue, it's hard to get excited about it. I assume people would like to have more light later, but some people would like to have more light earlier because they don't want to take their kids to school in the dark," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office Thursday. "It's something I can do, but a lot of people like it one way. A lot of people like it the other way." - Trump

By "longest" I think he meant "longest running."  I started it in 2012.  It certainly doesn't have the most posts.  :dunno:

Yes.  That what I was asking.  I'm sure there are older threads buttons one is still active every year 2x a year.  Can you think of any others that have the staying power?
