DankNuggs 305 Posted October 31, 2012 I actually saw about 15min of this last week, being a large 80s fan thought I'd like it, but it was mid movie and strange and seemed to want to make 80s music video an hour and a half long. Worth a chuckle Also watched escape from NY which was funny for its flagrant attempt to glorify rudimentary neon green tron-esque 3D graphics.

RaiderHaters Revenge 4,246 Posted October 31, 2012 I cant believe my own brother a bloodsucking vampire. One thing about Santa Carla, all the damn vampiers. Cry Little Sister, greatest most fitting song ever used in a movie. edit: its been 20+ yrs since Ive seen this movie, but its still one of my favorite all time movies, especially watching it as a teen. Jamie Gertz! Star was hot!
nzoner 937 Posted October 31, 2012 Cry Little Sister, greatest most fitting song ever used in a movie. i wouldn't go that far but still a damn good song as well as I Still Believe, listen to them both regularly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrMLMV6E4CM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8vPEjioirE

kutulu 1,659 Posted October 31, 2012 It was OK...I certainly don't put it in my top 80's films, though. Considering how popular vampire films/shows are now it does seem ahead of it's time, sort of.
hoytdwow 202 Posted October 31, 2012 Acreed. Name me the one line or any of it's dialogue that is memorable? Maggots, Billy. You're eating maggots

nikki2200 4 Posted October 31, 2012 Maybe, but it's better than any of the Twilight movies. Harold and Kumar go to Whitecastle is better than the Twilight movies. That does not mean it's a good movie. I don't think I ever saw The Lost Boys when I was a kid. No idea why, but I have no recollection of ever watching it. I was a big Coreys fan too. It was on TV the other day and I couldn't believe how bad it was. BUT I do think that if you try to watch an 80s movie now for the first time, without having existing nostalgic memories of it, it comes across as preposterous.
