tanatastic 2,062 Posted October 8, 2013 Jimmy Graham, AP, who else???? If you were stacked at wr or were the one who got welker late id say Mcoy is another option, altho no owner will trade their top rb even for a top wr. You could possibly get a mid rb1 like Forte tho. tanatastic 2,062 Posted October 8, 2013 Yeah, I bet you could get Forte It would be really tough. The forte owner would have to have at least 2 other RBs he was confident in and also be super thin at wr. WR value is far lower than RB value in trade since its easy for owners to take a good look at their wrs and say "Ehhh, im ok with these guys, ill just ride them out." but when they look a ttheir RBs its either confidence or panic mode. Same with QB, Brees is a 2nd rnd pick but no one will trade a 2nd rnd wr or rb that is performing up to their expectations for him cuz they likely already have a qb they are ok with like Romo or even cutler who went 8 rnds later than Brees.
rallo 139 Posted October 8, 2013 on my team... see below it would take a WR2 with upside... see victor cruz/jordy nelson etc and then a decent upgrade at qb or rb so something like Calvin/Eddie Lacy for Forte/Cruz...
Yamirfaz 3 Posted October 8, 2013 Charles would be highly unlikely, but that's who I'd try for first, then Forte. Edit: Well, after seeing your team I would probably not trade Megatron for just a RB. The Forte/Cruz deal would be great if you could pull that off. It's hard to come up with advice if we can't see the other teams rosters. Good luck though. Skinny_Bastard 159 Posted October 8, 2013 No owner will move ADP or Graham. You should look to move him for 2 starters....like AJ Green & Fjax...
The Road Warriors 3 Posted October 8, 2013 I just traded for Calvin. Gave up Knowshon Moreno. I'm now starting Mccoy and Lacy. I have no running back bench to speak of but I am starting AJ Green, Calvin Johnson, and Jimmy Graham,so I'm happy with the trade. So far nobody in my league is complaining about it so it must not be too bad of a deal. Hope this helps.

rallo 139 Posted October 8, 2013 Not sure I would trade Forte and Cruz for that... nor would i if situations were reversed... i guess the point is that it's hard to trade for the #1 player at each position.

The Road Warriors 3 Posted October 8, 2013 That's ridiculous. You just trade raped the ###### out of somebody. It's Calvin for Mareno strait up. I drafted the other guys. His RB before the trade: Spiller Hillman Fred Jackson Lamar Miller McFadden He needed a warm body, but I hope your right me getting the best of it.As long as my RBs stay upright

skinsrule05 30 Posted October 8, 2013 It is a bad time to be trading him. With the unknown extent of his injury I would be hard pressed to give equal value.

jivy26 5 Posted October 9, 2013 I got offered to get Megatron and Chris Johnson and I'd lose McCoy and Cruz. What do you think? I'd upgrade at WR for sure and downgrade at RB.

No. Chris still has two very tough matchups and a bye. Cruz should be elite this week against the Bears.
5Year1 23 Posted October 9, 2013 Graham, AP, McCoy, Charles, one of the big 3 QBs and maybe Dez. If Gronk and Cameron show something for another few of weeks, they could enter the mix. Other than that, don't talk to me.
5Year1 23 Posted October 9, 2013 No. Chris still has two very tough matchups and a bye. Cruz should be elite this week against the Bears. Someone this week offered me CJ in a trade. This^^^. Upcoming 3 weeks he is useless and he has several more tough run Ds later on including the Fantasy Playoffs. I would only give next to nothing for him. 27buzz 0 Posted October 9, 2013 I just got offered Dem. Thomas for Calvin. Leaning towards accepting it because his knee situation makes me a little leery of him going forward. And Thomas has a good thing going with Manning.

And Thomas has a good thing going with Manning. This is closer than most would think, however id like to upgrade another position as well if possible. The offense can be scattered in denver while Calvin is the whole team in Det.

I am going to start standing in front of the 7-11, and when someone walks out carrying one of those giant barrels of soda, I'll ask to be in their FF league. Then I can start making trades like these.

mark32esu 18 Posted October 10, 2013 I am considering trading him for woodhead & jordy Nelson. I am desperate for a RB and woodhead has been solid in PPR. His nagging injuries are starting to scare me.

SaintsInDome2006 791 Posted October 3, 2014 Redraft. Out of nowhere last night the owner in one of my leagues announced that Calvin is on the block and he wants a "premium RB". I don't think so. I had been thinking of sending him and others trade offers but have held back because I view CJ as speculative right now. Yes his ankle is screwed up but he also might (might) have a long term problem with his knee. I would like to send a RB or even two because this owner is RB desperate, RBs which I think have value and which I consider a sacrifice but they are names I know the CJ owner will scoff at and be aggravated at such a "lowball" offer. Not to mention there are maybe just 3-4 true "premium" RBs these days anyway. So I don't send the offer. Is this basically a no-win proposition for the CJ owner? SuperSteelers 1 Posted October 3, 2014 Someone in my league just traded Megatron for Brandon Marshall. The owner who traded for Megatron has Stafford for QB and other owner has Cutler.

I put out a bunch of offers, one of which was for CJ. My first attempt at getting johnson was before last sunday after two 8 point performances. CJ owner rejected and i dont remember who i offered. After CJs 1 point game i offered martellus bennet (avg 13 pt per game) and tereence west. CJ owner is RB desperate. He started a thread calling me a POS basically for sending the most egregious low ball offer in the history of ever, and stated i should have gotten the hint that he wasnt going to trade CJ for a pile of steaming dog shlt. He is also 1-3. So yeah i doubt his owners trade him. I called him back out and told him he may want to find a new hobby if he is offended by 2 players that have outscored CJ every week but week 1. Flgatorguy87 160 Posted October 3, 2014 Tried to get Calvin this week and this was the deal it was going to take Matt Ryan, Roddy, Gio, Julius For Foles, Calvin, R. Bush, L. Donnell I downgraded at 2 positions severely, 1 position slightly, and then upgraded at WR. I didn't pull the trigger but we had agreed in theory to that trade minus the rubbing backs and then he upped the deal.
SaintsInDome2006 791 Posted October 3, 2014 Exactly, say how about Gio, plus Julius, oh I send you my underperforming Foles for your overpeforming Ryan, you know just pretty much the core of your team for.... Take away that 67 yard TD bomb vs the NYG in the 1st drive on MNF week 1 (where the DB got turned around the NYG were just not ready to play) and the 2nd drive TD and catches, since then you have since the first 5 minutes of the season: 4/66/0 6/83/0 6/82/0 2/12/0 I of course realize the huge ceiling but even when healthy I think most games you are looking at that 6 for 80-90 with a chance at TD guy, which to me is somewhere around Mike Wallace. And then the weekly practice reports, draining the knee, the ankle, the new offense with Lombardi who spreads it around...
tanatastic 2,062 Posted October 3, 2014 Id scratch the last game and count it as a missed game rather than a bad performance. 6-80 isnt the worst and he still got 10+ targets in those games.
