NFL: 11 of 12 Pat's balls under inflated.

Recommended Posts

I have no idea if the Patriots were deflating freakin' footballs. However this whole "you're just jealous of us!@#!" mantra from Patriot Nation is hilarious.

There have been dynasties littered all throughout not only the NFL but all of sports. Yes, sometimes people don't like them because of it, and you'll have random folks trying to go conspiracy routes, but rarely is there a general consensus that those dynasties contained "cheating". Patriot Fans just can't grasp that.

When you think back to the 49ers, Cowboys, the Packers, Broncos with Elway, or even modern day people like Coach K in basketball who win all the time and have backlash. None of them have some moniker associated with "cheating".

That moninker has little to do with hating the team because they are good, it has to do with what actually has happened.

and jimmy Johnson has admitted to filming other teams signals. Cheater or not ?

Rogers, cheater or not.

You guys have the perfect opportunity to prove your theory but wont.

Why is that ?

Regardless of how the investigation comes out, even if the Pats are found innocent of ANY wrongdoing, a lot of damage has already been done.

Agree, and like I said earlier, IF nothing comes of this, that egg on the face is on the NFL. They made this public before any fact finding / interveiws were conducted. They have a shoot first, ask questions later mentality it seems.

I am not a general fan of the media, but you can't blame them for reporting on a story about the NFL conducting a full investigation into "cheating" right before the Superbowl. And you can't blame fans for talking about said stories.

I wouldn't be complaining if they were merely "reporting". This has gone WAY beyond reporting. I mean it was really touching how broke up Brunell over being so convinced that Brady was lying, but I can't exactly call that reporting.

I hadn't seen that, Brunell started crying? For real?

Can't find the video. Not actual crying, but close. And he has said conclusively that this WILL follow Brady, and that his legacy is tarnished, you know regardless of what the actual findings are, if we ever get to focking hear them.

No different than when Suh steps on another player. Of course it gets more attention. When you have a history of being an ass hole, and then do an ass hole thing, it gets attention. Duh

You realize some of the main people who keep this going are Pats fans right?

If by "kept it going" you meant "responded to all the horsesh!t myself and others have been slinging for a week", then you are correct

Now I'm seeing reports that say the NFL conducted a sting on the Cheatriots.

If that's the case, the whole "did the refs check the air pressure before the game" excuse goes out the window. If it was a sting I would say the NFL has the goods on Belicheat and the entire Cheatriot organization.

You expect the NFL to execute a sting without focking it up somehow?

Had they not just executed the worst blunder in NFL playoff history, it might matter.

Good job, good effort.

Sho - you're smarter than that - NE wins pretty much every freakin' Sunday and they have for nearly 15 years... their level of "winning" is absurd even if they haven't won the very last game of the season in a while.

To take a team that wins that much and listen to so much crying and complaining about them from opposing fanbases.... wow. Sore loser city. As usual, these other fans talk more about NE than they talk about their own team. The possibility of NE losing or doing something wrong makes them happier than seeing their own team do well. And the media knows this so they pump out garbage to feed the monster and increase ratings.

They have not won a Super Bowl, so acting like they are some big bad boogeyman is idiotic...and you all are crying and complaining over this more than anyone else.

You rooting for Kentucky to win it all this year? I know you just loved the Big 3 when they were in Miami.

Fans will always root against teams. It's a vital part of sports. The Pats aren't some special case here. BB is a curmudgeon. I kinda like it but you have to see how it rubs people wrong. Brady throws a sh!t fit 3 times a game. It gets old. Oh....and they've been implicated a couple times of bending the rules.

Other Teams win and perception is a bit kinder to them. The Spurs are the current dynasty of the NBA. They have a cranky coach who also happens to be a genius. But they've been spared of the ridicule. So have the SF Giants. So teams can be successful without the public thirsting for their failure.

Face it....the Pats have brought some of this on themselves. :dunno:

Frankly I'm glad this stupid witch hunt happened - maybe now people will look back to Spygate and wonder if that, too, was an overblown sack of garbage designed to discredit a winning franchise (hint: it was)

i think a lot has to do with Belichick's personality. He is not a likeable guy and has shown disdain for the media. Not a lot of people will come to his defense. Bill Parcells will tell you about cheating that Bill Walsh did in 2 playoff games but Walsh was a well liked guy by the media.

Maybe it has to do with the society we live in now with camera phones and everyone trying to catch someone doing something wrong (ie police videos). Then they pounce like a mob before getting all the facts.

If everyone could just admit this and be honest with themselves. This conversation would be much easier to have.

If this was a "sting", and we then assume the refs MUST have measured the balls, I would also assume the balls would have been kept under observation on the sidelines. And if they were under observation, and were manipulated pre-game, then the NFL knew that, and did nothing til halftime. If this was a sting, it was totally focking boondoggle, even by NFL front office standards, and is going to be yet another huge blackeye for the league.

The whole world is still against the patriots, even though they're a squeaky clean organization and Belichick would never imagine bending the rules.
