Still it avoids the real issue, how about asking what it would be like to live in poverty? Lot's of people suffer in that space, though not all turn to crime. This sense that the problem is one of color avoids the actual issue, which is not based on color but socioeconomics, but its easier to pretend its a color thing. Of course I don't look at everything in life through a prism of race. I'm looking at my sons 1st grade public school classroom. It's a mixed bag of Whites, Blacks, Mexicans, a couple Indian and Asians. Each of those kids has an equal chance to succeed if they do well in school. There are no hurdles for none of those kids if they try hard in school. The only hurdles are the ones they may have to get over at home if the parents don't do their jobs.
