I hate to say it but hes probably better than Sale It seems like hitters have a hard time with overhead deliveries. Josh Collmenters success is based just on his delivery. They actually got a great outing from Fister the other night - just made some real bonehead base running mistakes and fielding errors that cost them a win. I would tend to agree with you on that assessment, but there are some pitchers that just don't come out and start throwing like Tekulve or Quisenberry... I would assume that most would start normal and some just say, let me try this to see what happens... Some deliveries are all the deal of the pitcher. I mentioned Collmenter as an example. He is a local kid that grew up with brothers and they entertained themselves by throwing tomahawks at things as kids. He calls his delivery an axehandle and its way over the top. Because of this batters tend to foul off a lot of his pitches. If he pitched for Oakland he would be a beast with all that foul territory. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The big deal is that while it is a small sample to far this year he has showed an exceptional jump in his eye. He walked every 19. at bats for 28 total. This year he is walking every 3.9 at bats for 17. A huge jump in the amount of walks for him is also going to see a jump in steals and runs. Could push 120 walks. Owned in 46% of leagues.
