wiffleball 4,652 Posted December 3, 2016 Personally, with all the flat-out dangerous and belligerent that Chinas been pulling On our airplanes and Naval craft In the region I don't really give a s*** if we hurt their feelings diplomatically thru a f****** phone call. But, Once he got his hand caught in the cookie jar, He immediately ran out to the interweb and claimed that he was just receiving a phone call. Turns out, His staffer Went to Taiwan to arrange this phone call. Not like truth or facts matter anymore. And like I said, If this is the worst thing he pulls before Becoming president, I would be f****** shocked.

China isn't butt hurt because they realize the Taiwan leader pulled one over on Trump. Taiwan even publicized the call. Not a smart move by Taiwan, IMO. Trump doesn't like to look bad and he holds grudges. This was a major concern with Trump. Diplomacy is a delicate subtle art. Every word counts. This is different from business dealings. Strike 4,000 Posted December 3, 2016 Sho, Funny how concerned you are with "diplomacy" and yet you haven't even posted about the Senate's vote this week re: Iran sanctions. By all accounts we pissed Iran off pretty good with this one. Seems a stupid move diplomatically. I guess that doesn't matter since it wasn't a Trump move. More likely, you aren't even aware of WTF I'm talking about since it isn't being carried by MSNBC. But carry on with your ranting.

Let the man do his job. China lodges complaint over Trump-Taiwan call The chat marks the first publicly reported call between a US President or President-elect and the leader of Taiwan since Washington established diplomatic relations with Beijing in 1979, said Bonnie Glaser, a China expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. And it has prompted questions over whether Trump intends a shift in US policy, or if this was a blunder by a team with limited experience of international affairs. But I'm sure you guys all knew that already... (and seriously, Reality?, that hurts.) He shouldn't talk to them because we do not officially recognize the Taiwan government.
