Who has moved up your draft boards or player you now plan on reaching for...

Recommended Posts

With the "dress rehearsal" week 3 now in the books, who has moved up your draft boards or who is the player you may have to possibly reach for.

With only one FF draft only completed as of today, the one guy I know I reached for was D. Parker. I grabbed him at 6.02 because I did not believe he would make it back to me at 7.11

Hunt of course is moving up everywhere, but i know he is moving up everyones draft boards. Although, I do have a handful of guys that I can name here that are moving up my draft boards, the one guy that comes to mind is Corey Coleman WR Cle

Who are yours?

McCafferey and Cook, I wasn't all that high on them, but they're both going to get lots of opportunities to run and catch the ball, especially love them in PPR.

Golladay has moved up into my top 20.

Perine moved down. Joseph Williams of the 49ers moved down.

We draft IDP and I was high on S Rashad Jones, but he hasn't looked good at all. So, I moved him way down my board.

Cook, Parker, hunt of course and I'm sure really targeting Martin in the 8-9rd area. Unless I can get graham in a reasonable area maybe rd 5-6 then I'm waiting and ertz is my go to there.

T West I think Woodhead is going to be limited this season, and he's the only Rb the Ravens have.

I won't pay a lot for him but he's now a target.

D Foreman I can't see Miller lasting and he's not a work load Rb , I think Foreman will get more and more playing time as the season moves on.

J Williams Rb Packers. Still don't think Ty Montgomery can hang on to the starting job.

M Evans I have moved him to my number one wr spot.

T Ginn I think he could have a very good season.

And K Benjamin he looks like he did during his rookie season.

Golladay had 1 catch on 3 targets for 2 yards. What did you see in that game that made you want to move him that high? Now, if you're in a keeper league, then I get it, but I'm thinking you're talking about re-draft.

He went out with the starters in the dress rehearsal game. He is a HUGE target and will be a factor in the redzone. Realistically, he is a rookie and he'll make mistakes. He won't light it up like a WR1, but I think he's a solid WR2 and at the end of the year he'll be one of the top producing rookie WR's. It helps that Im in a keeper league and hoping to stash him as a WR4.

NO chance on Golladay. Stafford and Jones are best friends, and Tate demands a lot of targets as well - not too mention their dump off passes.

No Chance. Huge pass.

K. Benjamin is going to have a big year. I could see 78 1150 and 11...

Martavis is going to be a monster as well going against #2 cb's..

I now think Ajai is going to have a top 5 year. He wasn't in the top 10 last year, so he is one of those guys that Mike FFtoday talks about switching into the top 10.

Hunt has a great opportunity..

Russell Wilson moves way up my board. I have him as the #3 Qb behind Brady and Rodgers.

Jimmy Graham looks like he is going to have a nice 80 1000 and 12 year as well...

I really don´t like the consensus RB2 scene with McCaffrey, Miller, Cook, Gurley, Lynch, CJ, Mixon, & Ty Mont. Gonna target Hunt, Doug Martin, Abdullah and Rob Kelley. Probably take Hunt & Martin earlier than I should.

Thomas Rawls is being ignored or forgotten. He's the starter. Plan to draft him cheap to add RB depth and Ameer Abdullah too. Definitely want Ty Montgomery, Doug Martin, and Carlos Hyde.

I'm not feeling Paul Perkins though.

just drafted tonight and got Montgomery in the 5th, Rawls in the 13th, and Perkins in the 10th.

I agree on not feeling Perkins, but I think he's good enough value in the 10th.

very excited about Rawls though too.

Hyde went mid 4th, and Martin went early in the 6th so may have to reach for him if you want.

Nice!

My league is auction so it makes it easier. I just hope the guy with Ty Montgomery keeps Tevin Coleman instead.

Why so high on Ty Montgomery?I wasn't impressed with his volume looking back at last years game logs. To be honest I haven't seen him play much. Will he score TDs? I have a guy offering me Montgomery for Devonte Parker in a standard scoring keeper league. Who will score more points and be a better long term investment?

He looks real good running the ball and we already know he can catch and run. Yes he can score TDs, but will he score a decent amount in 2017, that's hard to predict. I'm just as high on DeVante Parker so it would just depend on how much help you need at running back vs your depth at wide receiver.

good stat on Montgomery...

ranked top 5 among RBs in juke rate (forced 17 missed tackles alone against Chi in Week 15), yards after contact per attempt (2.8), and breakaway run percentage.

and that was just on his own instincts as he's spent no formal time at the position before. imagine those instincts after a full offseason to learn the position.

J Williams Rb Packers. Still don't think Ty Montgomery can hang on to the starting job.

I'm trying to grab Williams where I have Ty, but I'm not super amazed by him enough to think he'll unseat Ty. He didn't fail the eye test this preseason, but he was a resounding Meh.

It's good to see a couple other owners stoked about Rawls. That just seems like a fundamentally good situation in Seattle.

I very much want Rawls to do well. I've owned him the last two years in my keeper league. Got him the year he replaced Lynch, kept him through to last year, didn't keep him this year but picked him back up late in the draft as a backup RB for my squad. I'm really hoping we see the guy from two years ago take off again. And I think he can if they can get their Oline squared away.

My biggest "reach" target is Hunt. Just traded the #13/37 and 84 for 21/28/76 in order to get in front of another KC fan at #29....#28 may be too early to take him, but I highly doubt he would have gotten back to #36

He can't hold up running that wrecklessly. He's great when healthy. Had him his great stretch. But his value this year is worth knowing you're only gonna have him in spurts of health.

Quoted for truth. I'm really hoping he's learned to moderate his style a bit. That ankle may have done that for him--always makes a guy tentative at first. I think we saw a lot of that last year. But people can learn new styles. Sometimes an injury is what it takes. Here's hoping.

If Cutler and Parker are healthy, Parker is a top 10 WR in PPR.

Snead. He will grab many of the targets meant for Cooks and he will always be in single coverage because of Thomas. Great WR # 2 in PPR to have. Great if you can get him as a WR # 3.

I ran out of auction dollars and missed Rawls, he went for only $2. I got Prosise for $1. Bummed I didn't get John Brown who went for just $2 also. I got Marvin Jones for $1, Rex Burkhead for $1, Terrance West for $6, Randall Cobb for $3 and Philip Rivers as my 3rd QB in a 2 QB league for $25, DeVante Parker for $29. This is out of $1,000 to bid with. My team is stacked though, only 8 team ppr with multiple flex spots. I got David Johnson, Ty Montgomery, LeSean McCoy, Doug Martin, Drew Brees, Dak Prescott, P Rivers, Brandin Cooks, Sammy Watkins, Stefon Diggs, DeVante Parker, Adam Thielen, Julius Thomas, Charles Clay, Evan Engram, Eagles D and Chargers D, Bobby Wagner and Blair Walsh. I like my team a lot except Tight End not so good.. Missed out on Martavis Bryant, Kelvin Benjamin, Ameer Abdullah, and Carlos Hyde, and a few others. Can't get everyone I like.

Drafted in a $100 Yahoo Pro League yesterday. Hunt was taken at #25 overall. You are probably right thinking he wouldn't be there at #36.

I had my 12 team ppr draft Tuesday. 500 buy in ...20 per drop add...20 per loss...double win loss league. We start 4 wr and a flex. Te /wr are the same.

Hunt went 27th...right before I picked at 28

I grabbed Julio McCaffrey and then took cook. I talked to the guy that took hunt in front of me and he might have taken cook if he didn't have the same bye as a back he took in the 1st. I would have taken hunt next. He prob would have been my choice if I had picked one spot higher

Jonathan Williams

we can only carry 6 RB's

Id try to trade Prosise to a team that might still believe in him. He still carries value in PPR leagues. I just don't think Rawls or Lacy are anything special though for the early down role.

Leonard Fournette.

I am starting to believe he's going to be ridiculous. If healthy, he'll get over 300 carries.

Even at a paltry 4yds/carry, that's at least 1200 yards.

Even if you compare him to Mark Ingram in terms of TD production, Ingram had 6 rushing TD's last year on 205 carries.

That's 34 carries per TD.

If Fournette runs 300 times, that's just shy of 9TD's based on Ingram's production.

I looked at his ADP according to FantasyFootballCaculator.com, and he's going 23rd behind Brandin Cooks and the last running back taken before him is Gurley at 17.

I actually love the fact that the Jaguars suck this preseason and that he's only played in one preseason game. McCaffrey and Cook look good, so it lowers his perceived value.

The reality is all are good backs and I think all will do well in the NFL. However this is lowering his perceived value and I believe this time next year, he will be looked at like a top 5 RB.

Of course, I could be wrong...and nobody can predict the future.

But ask yourself, honestly, would you be SURPRISED to see highlights every weekend of Fournette running over DB's, outrunning linebackers to the edge, plunging in from the 2 yard line twice a game, and having 107 yards rushing on 27 attempts?

Because I would be surprised to see those numbers from McCaffery or Cook, but I would not be surprised to see them from Fournette.

well I pick 1.8 and would love if all the RBs went b4 Fournette and he falls to me.
