fandandy 3,311 Posted November 20, 2017 Snowed a bit on Saturday. Big fluffy flakes but not much accumulation. My daughter stepped outside and built a quick 6 inch tall snowman just for kicks. It melted soon after.
IMMensaMind 460 Posted November 20, 2017 A bit more than a dusting, and at 36˚, it accumulated on the roof and lawn and was gone in an hour.

IGotWorms 3,325 Posted November 20, 2017 We got some a couple weekends ago. Enough for sledding, building snowmen etc. Kids were super excited and had a blast playing in it. Then it melted and none since

jerryskids 5,215 Posted November 20, 2017 Probably not a white Christmas for you then. I moved here in 1989 from PA. I went back excited for a white Christmas. But a heat wave his PA and it was in the 60s. And... it snowed in Phoenix Christmas day. Just a few flakes, but still it was news. We usually have a few days (moreso nights) a year that lower to freezing. But we don't get much precipitation this time of year. I'm over it; it is nice when it is 68 out and you can do stuff outside.

Will probably end up going somewhere south for winters when I retire. Don't take the nice weather for granted. Get out there and enjoy it!
Voltaire 4,567 Posted November 20, 2017 It's that time of year when you may want to wear a jacket in the morning but you won't need it the rest of the day and it may be a burden carrying it around if you don't have a place to stash it.

Golf quarter zips are great for this, have 7 or 8 of them.

Cruzer 1,992 Posted November 20, 2017 According to MDC it was cold. Yea, I guess Saturday was a bit...... A front blew thru and we had 30 mph winds all day - made it seem colder than it was.... Y-day was really nice, no wind, sun, 63 or so I want to say.
