A friend of mine just told me last night that his BIL has pancreatic cancer, but that it's at the "tip" of the pancreas, and after chemo and radiation, they're planning on surgery to get rid of it. I guess it's the "best" type of pancreatic cancer to get. It sounds like this might be the same kind that RBG has.
