Fears of a second civil war grow among democrat & republican pundits

Imagine being in the military and told you're going to guard the inaugural.  Then they are going to run a background check on you to see if you are a republican and get rid of you if you are.  Imagine what's running through your mind at that point, where this sort of thing is going.  Once you accept that, they will start eliminating you for all kinds of jobs.  The careers of your friends ruined because of a political position they may or may not have taken.  Are you really going to respect the democrats after that?   

The effort to weed out "terrorists" just creates more enemies for the left.  In trying to prevent the military from being an insurgent, the democrats are setting it up.

Fox News was reporting there are far-right protesters who have discussed posing as members of the national guard to infiltrate the inauguration, similar to how Democrats dressed up as MAGA protesters at the Capitol.  Just the media doing there thing as usual.

Mungwater, your steadfast belief in fair play is admirable (and astonishing given current events) but you don't seem to understand what is going on.  At the conclusion of the next rght wing protest, the democrats will hunt down and eliminate as many right wingers from the military as they can.  They will do this thing called LIE and levy false charges against people who guarded the Capitol or whatever it takes place.  They will destroy their careers by moving goalposts after-the-fact with regards to professional conduct of the military.  It doesn't matter how many of them you trained, its still going to happen even if 100% followed the rules to the letter.
