Yeah, from a business perspective, I never get why people would turn away business because of ideology; like the cake makers not wanting to make a cake for gay people. it seems dumb to me, but to each their own I guess.  

I think in this case Nike feels like this is a win, that society will be behind this. I think this might be a flawed approach. I think those who would be behind this are predominantly lower income and lower motivation, but not entirely of course.

I suspect that a legitimate study would likely show a correlation between political ideology and any Nike protest, it might even tilt a little with Trump supporters, but that could be mixing up correlation and causation just a little.

If companies want to enter the socio-political arena and are willing to alienat people, that is their deal I guess....

2. The" Besty Ross" flag is generally tied to the The Revolutionary War and the insurrection by American Patriots in the 13 colonies to British rule, resulting in American independence.  WTF is wrong with that?
