You morons took a perfectly normal interaction between countries and twisted it into a coup. Which of course failed. You know it was wrong you admit to believing it will hurt Democrats in the fall. Yet you still defend it.

What in the heII is your problem?

Bingo

I am pointing out that the Dems new about Bolton long before impeachment was voted on and before the Senate hearings not after Trump’s defense........

Maybe they did.  But it wasn't public knowledge what Bolton knew.  The news of him dropping a book detailing first hand accounts of a quid pro quo happened after the start of the Senate trial.  Trump's defense made it clear that the trial should center on the facts known and not what was floating around as rumor.  Dershowitz's closing argument centered on Trump acting in the public good.....his re-election was for the good of the republic.....and it was a line of thinking that some Republican senators adopted: it really doesn't matter if Trump did anything wrong because what he's been accused of doing doesn't warrant removal from office.

That's a totally different argument than he didn't do anything wrong.

Like I said, dude is still in office.  That's really the only fact that matters.

He didnt, just because Democrats claim and make up charges doesnt mean he did anything wrong. This was proven by his acquittal.

Who said we will and we need to hear from the whistleblower ? Schiff

Did we? No.  why not ?

Who said impeachment needs to be bipartisan ? Pelosi and Nadler.

Was it? No. Why not ?

It was a sham,  we know it, you know it, anyone with an ounce of integrity and common sense knows it.

Aquitted for life. Accept it.

The Democrats are playing with fire, for the now and for the future.  They are impulsive, they lack good strategic common sense and seem nonchalant about how their behaviors might come back to them. Their immediacy in their pursuit of power will be their undoing. In the coming years they will learn the mob is no less of a mob just because they seem to be with you.

Coups are illegal.  Who's going to jail?

If it is a normal interaction, show me where previous Presidents withheld aid in exchange for information?

:dunno:

Literally, Obama and Joe Biden who withheld aid to get a guy fired. We've been over this plenty of times. Just because you guys keep ignoring it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Again, what is wrong with you? What kind of prescriptions are you on?

Nobody would care if Trump withheld aid to get a guy fired for legitimate US interests. The issue is withholding aid to compel a country to do opposition research for your campaign.

For fock’s sake.

Nothing illegal but according to some Republican Senators it was inappropriate and impeachable conduct.

Truth.  Third Prez impeached.....first trial without witnesses.  No amount of alternative facts will ever change it.

And as more and more corruption dribbels out, all those GOP senators who voted against allowing witnesses and  became coconspirators in the cover up are going to look more and more corrupt.  History is not going to be kind to Republican office holders during this administration. With the exception of John McCain and Mitt Romney.

17 witnesses interviewed by the House Intelligence Committee.

No witnesses called during the Senate Trial.  First time ever.

Fact.

The Senate had all the info and documents from the 17 witnesses in the House.  Your post makes no sense.  there were plenty of witnesses.

You really think after 17 witnesses with nothing but feelings and hearsay, that an 18th was THE ONE WITNESS that was going to put this sham over the top?  Really?

If you couldn't prove it with 17 witnesses then it's time to step back and ask yourself if you really have a case at all.  You don't and you didn't.  Full acquittal.

There was an 18th... the IG...Schiff wouldn't let him testify in public. I wonder why...

Same with the whistleblower...

I wonder why.

Just saying.....this was the first impeachment trial out of like 15 where the Senate did not call a single witness.  I am certain that during those other trials witness testimony was already recorded before the trial.  So there was nothing unique here....except that no witnesses were called.

I'm not even lobbying for or against anything.  Just stating facts.

You guys are really tense.  Thought it was MAGA time?

How?  They played the hand they were dealt. Trump refused to cooperate with Congress and trump.knew the courts would take a year or more to rule on subpoenas. As most career criminals, he knows how to play the system.  Then it went to the Senate and they agreed to take part in the cover up.  They ended up getting him impeached. He's impeached today. He'll he impeached tomorrow. And he'll be an impeached president for all of time. Pelosi knew there was zero chance of getting him removed. That wasn't her intention. And all those no votes on the senators' record will be impossible to explain as Bolton talks and more comes out with Parnas and Furmman and even possibly Giuliani. There's absolutely nothing positive Trump go out of it.
