Written remarks from two doctors who testified to congress today:

https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/Testimony-Atlas-2020-05-06.pdf

Actual facts that people should read and understand.

Did you not want to show testimony from all speakers?

https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/covid-19-how-new-information-should-drive-policy

For example, here is someone from John Hopkins - https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/Testimony-Inglesby-2020-05-06.pdf

Can't post things I wasn't aware of.  Not sure what your point is though.  I didn't watch the video in your first link because those tend to be long winded.  If there's something important in it feel free to post it.  The second link doesn't say anything that contradicts the links I posted; just adds some additional information but most of it isn't as specific as the links I posted.

I found the links I posted significant because they document stats I've been wanting but aren't publicized by the media for some reason:

- The fatality rate, based upon numerous studies, is between 0.1 and 0.4 percent, much lower than early estimates (Shoutout to SuperMike!!).

-  Illness and death are heavily slanted towards elderly people and people with other health issues.

- Younger, healthy people are at almost zero risk from this virus.

Dr. Atlas' comments are especially interesting.  I'll admit I'm biased because I would follow his reopening "plan" to the letter.  It's exactly what I think should be done.  It's also worth noting that EVERY one of those links (other than the video which I haven't watched so can't say) suggests we should be reopening society.

You don't have to watch the video.  Below the video is the link to each person's testimony which is not really facts, but opinion.

I do think that we should be opening society as is happening, but it should not just be done without any considerations to what is going on in each locality.  The Federal government already provided some guidance that people were supposed to be following, but it has been largely ignored by states.  Why would we think that anything these guys say would make a difference in that?  Let's come up with some other set of guidelines that no one will follow?

One thing that I did not understand was the reasoning for opening schools (K-12).  Most schools are done for the year, so what benefit does that provide?  Focus on being able to open up in the fall and figure out how summer camps and the like will be handled.

"China Virus" is hate speech in San Antonio...

I've heard a lot of people calling it the Trumpvirus too.   I think both are wrong.  It's Covid-19.  People don't need to rename it based on China's or Trump's failures for political reasons.

Don’t neglect the fact people are “encouraged to report that speech to authorities.”

That is focked up

If other governors instructed their medical examiners to withhold coronavirus death figures their states would be doing great also.

Other than being bored as hell you wouldn't even of known a pandemic was going on. Maybe in Miami it was a little different but in civilized Central Florida everything was ok.

A 17 Page CDC guide to reopening the country written by scientists and experts to avoid infections and deaths and completed last week, will never see the light of day. A decision made by the Trump administration.

From your link:

Quote

A person close to the White House’s coronavirus task force said the CDC documents were never cleared by CDC leadership for public release. The person said White House officials have refrained from offering detailed guidance for how specific sectors should reopen because the virus is affecting various parts of the country differently. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations.

Asked Thursday about the CDC report, White House coronavirus adviser Dr. Deborah Birx said: “No one has stopped those guidelines. We’re still in editing.” She told CNN, ”It was more about simplification.”

It goes on to call it the "shelved report."  Objective reporting by the AP there.

It is amazing how the retards all have the same talking points. Some dipshite reporter asked the lovely Kayleigh about that in today's press conference and she basically said that "CDC report" is from some rogue employee and not an official CDC recommendation.

Mayah Mahty Walsh pretty much closed Boston until after labor day. What a focking putz

Boston cancels parades, festivals through Labor Day citing coronavirus public health crisis

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh on Friday announced that the city will not host any parades or festivals this summer, through at least Labor Day, because of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

The mayor called it a public health decision.

"If you have an event that brings crowds together in close contact--like a concert, a road race, a flag raising--you should start looking at alternatives now," Walsh said. "This is a public health decision and it is the right decision."

I think this needs to be said again.

We shutdown America to 'flatten the curve', aka not have an uber spike in cases and over-run our hospitals.

At that time most everyone agreed.  We did that......Great job America.

So why are we still in quarantine?

When there was the initial quarantine, did you expect that it would we would just flip a switch and be open just like before?

Of course not, it should be a sunrise, not a flip switch.

The new press liar Kayleigh something said it was never approved by a CDC leader. That was a lie. CDC director Robert Redfield signed off on it. It was ready for the public.  Trump nixed it.

I quoted your own link which said that CDC leadership hadn't approved it.  I'm sorry if your own link hurts.  Do you have a new link which refutes your recent link?  :dunno:

Sounds like another hoax. Aren’t you a bit tired of falling for this kind of stuff over and over? You are the target , but still, try and apply skepticism. Remember the Pee-pee tape and how you fell for that fairy tale? Stop being the mark.
