To his credit, Pence took control of Operation Warp Speed and it would not have succeeded without him. Unfortunately, since Trump has to hog all the media attention and the majority of the activist MSM is built for pure attack, none of that was really discussed in the general public. 

In 2016, out of everyone actually on the ticket, Pence was the most qualified to be POTUS based on ability to achieve "functional governance"  Trump had no real policy experience. Tim Kaine was a wet paper bag, Hillary Clinton was an unhinged sadist. 

In 2020, out of everyone actually on the ticket, Pence again was the most qualified to be POTUS. Biden and Harris have proved their corruption and incompetence. And Trump is just exhausting to the degree of pointlessness. The Big Cheeto just fights everything just to fight, without any measure on whether that specific fight has practical value or not. 

However Pence could never win a general election on his own. He has no real ambition. Trump is not going to pick someone who has ambition. Which is why his short list for VPOTUS will be Nikki Haley, maybe Tim Scott, and Ben Carson. 

Haley is in a very good position here. She's essentially the archetype of a VPOTUS candidate. Everything you'd want in one is right there. Also in the rare situation that Trump could win a general election in 2024 ( I have a hard time seeing him surviving the cheating that's going to inevitably happen) , odds are someone will try to assassinate him. And the VPOTUS will ascend anyway. Why pretend about it anymore - The DNC has made it clear they won't stop hunting Trump until he's basically dead. They've literally flushed the FBI as a viable federal institution in their witch-hunt for Orange Man Bad. Which is a staggering cost. 

Pence is boring. But boring isn't bad for a leader if your goal is to actually push forward effective public policy. 

The best overall choice is still IMHO Nikki Haley. War with China is coming sooner than later, and there needs to be a strong foreign policy mind in the White House accordingly. She's also boring. But so what. After the chaos of the past 6 and a half years, boring doesn't sound so half bad right now. 

It would not surprise me at this point if, by 2025, that BOTH Biden and Trump were assassinated by their own Parties. Not opposite Teams, but bizarrely their own. The DNC wants Biden gone. The RNC desperately wants Trump to disappear forever. Trump vs Biden 2.0 in 2024 might just break this country in half. That's just too much stupid and pure exhaustion to fit onto one ticket. 

Honestly, if it's Trump vs Biden 2.0 in 2024, I really wouldn't blame any working class American for deciding to just stop paying their taxes. Because this has just devolved into a toxic clown show now.

the GOP cant get rid of Trump.  if they do, Trump will create his own political party and take most of the GOP base with him.  The GOP would either dissolve or merge with one of the other parties.  its also possible that if Trump wins, in 2029 he starts his own party anyway and kills the GOP unless the GOP goes along with Trumps plans.

yeah that might work.  in 2016, he beat 15 GOP candidates because almost all 15 abandoned the GOP base to attack T.  It still feels like the political class in America is ignorant about what the public wants.

Busy couple weeks, turned the TV off and caught up on Tucker's interviews on Twitter with a couple beers.  So great, so well done, and so AUTHENTIC.  The Ice Cube interviews were tremendous.  Men talking about things without the threat of PC nonsense or media pressure.  

Y'all can have your CNN, MSNBC's and FOX News media shills.    I'll take my Tucker Carlson and Joe Rogan's of the world.

I don't know, some weird looking person comes out of the woodwork decades later to talk about weird sex stories.  This guy at least has some sort of details, she only "sort of" remembered.  You ask why?   Because the compare / contrast is funny to me.  The lack of self awareness is more than funny, its hilarious and sad all at the same time.

I didn’t watch the Tucker video but Blassey Ford did this in front of the nation during a SC hearing. This guy is doing this on a glorified podcast in between Tucker shilling gold coins and survival kits . Slightly different stakes and settings. 

It has been a long time ago but if I recall I didn’t think Kavanaugh should have been rejected because of her story because it wasn’t provable. So I’m not really sure why you find this “funny and sad” or whatever.

Kavanaugh did show some terrible temperament and had very odd reactions though, IIRC. I thought he kind of came across like a lunatic and came away thinking it’s crazy this guy is going to be on the court.

Thegeneral is as intellectually dishonest as it comes.  Question is if he is intelligent enough to understand what hes doing. Hes claims he doesnt remember why he believed Ford while immediately dismissing this guy. But, it's pretty simple as you point out. Thegeneral employs a double set of standards.

If you notice I didn’t say whether I believe  this guy on Tuckers podcast or not. I didn’t watch it, I probably won’t. I was just making fun of Tucker because he’s a flaming Richard.

I think Tucker is largely a joke, yes. He is easy to make fun of. I understand Tucker doing this to get eyeballs.
