One thing a lot of people do not know is that Obama was not a popular president.  In fact, he spent a large amount of time under 50% approval.  Biden probably would as well.

He was popular on Election Day - that’s all that matters.

Well you clearly don't believe in the vision of America that the founders put together. They knew the EC was essential for avoiding mob rule.

And if you want to take a glance at an electoral map, you'll see that the majority of the United States feel differently than you.

The will of the people in 10 states shouldn't outweigh the will of the people in the other 40.

This shows an ignorance of history. It had NOTHING to do with “mob rule” as you suggest:

States are more important than people? If everybody except 2 people moved out of North Dakota, they’d still get 2 senators. What about people in DC who are American citizens but don’t get a senator, while states with lower populations than DC get 2? Our system is pretty good, but there’s room for improvement.

Abraham Lincoln said “that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth” - not government of the states, by the states, for the states.

The U.S. is a Democratic Republic. It is not a Direct democracy, but rather a representative democracy. People vote for people to represent their interests. So both sides are right: we are a republic and a democracy,

This is the UNITED STATES of America.

Not the United People of America.

States get Senators. DC isn't a state. There's reasons for that history boy.

Also, from your link...

"Second, they feared a headstrong “democratic mob” steering the country astray."

You'd think he'd at least peruse his own link before posting it. Especially after calling somebody ignorant for stating something that his link corroborates

What a maroon.

Imagine how easy it would be for liberals to steal a national election if they could just go to a blue stronghold or two and jack up the votes.  At least with the current method they need to work to cheat.

Typical. Read the first couple paragraphs until you see something that agrees with your opinion, then stop reading. Just one camp within the founders had that view. In the end, it had mostly to do with slavery. Southern states didn’t want to give slaves voting rights, but a popular vote for president would mean they would get crushed by the north who had higher population of non-slaves. So they counted slaves as 3/5 of a person for purposes of determining the population of a state, and then that state got electors corresponding to that number.

I've tried to explain this multiple times before.

Abraham Lincoln neither wrote nor signed the constitution. HTH

When California became a state and had no people they got 2 Senators. Things change.  But liberals are immature children that want it their way now. I wish some of them would tell us what they would do with super majorities if they had them?  Any of. you sky screamers want to let the rest of us in on the great plans?

You are having a hard time coming to grips with the fact that Biden won, you are in a cult, and your dear leader is a fraud, a crook, and a traitor. Poor guy.

Twitter flagged this as a lie, but let me guess: Twitter is just part of the conspiracy against the red-hat cult leader? I also liked it that he said Trump increased his support among black people by 50%. That is accurate. 2 black people voted for Trump in 2016 and 3 did this time.

Anti-Trump consists of a variety of people. You’ll have to be more specific when you say, “Your side.”  There are more people who are against him than support him.

I wonder why the twit never flags liberal comments? Could it be political bias? Hmmm... 🤔

They aren’t flagging content based on political persuasion. They are flagging lies. Perhaps if one sees the leader of their political party getting flagged for lying constantly, they might want to vote in new party leadership? Nope, just double down and support the liar and loser no matter what. Imagine if football teams were run like this. Your team goes 0-16 but the coach tweets they won the super bowl and the fans throw a celebration. That’s what is happening with the cult of Trump right now. Whatever happened to consequences for losing and asking for a better candidate next time?

Your lack of knowledge doesn't allow a sensible person to get past this first sentence. So, you wasted your time typing all that other crap out. Whatever it said...
