Complete opposite for me. I break even on taxes when I used to owe thousands, my 401k did MUCH better. Cheap gas allowed me to put more in savings. Cheap gas, guns and ammo allowed me to play more on weekends. All that also allowed me an opportunity to pay cash for a SXS I'v been wanting forever. Glad you won't suffer financially with the incoming administrations proposed policies though.

I don't know what the Supreme Court is thinking here:

1.  Reject the Texas lawsuit and probably spark a civil war that will kill millions.
2.  Take the case and try to be the adults in the room where you work out some equitable 11-hour compromise to prevent war.

I am afraid that 12 months from now, everyone is going to wish the SC took this case and worked *something* out.  ANYTHING out.  The alternatives are so vastly worse.

-There is one in Georgia (16 EV), which has a better chance of success than Sidney P or Lin Wood's suits, precisely because POTUS is a party to this suit, suing in his personal capacity.

-There is one in Nevada (6 EV), which the NV supreme court rejected, making it now prime for appeal to the SCOTUS.

-There is another one in Arizona (11 EV), which the AZ supreme court rejected, and which AZ GOP Chairwoman Kelli Ward said they were appealing to SCOTUS.

Yeah. It’s been horrible for the lgbtq and minorities these last four years, just like they said it would be. Trumps inhumane  treatment of them and denial of their rights prediction was spot on. He came down swift and hard on them as they mostly peacefully protested and looted all summer. Rounded up gay people and sent them away too. And the kids in cages! Good thing Obama left him the keys to the ones he built so Trump could let them out.

Don't forget how he set minorities back by allowing a record number of them to work for a living and gave them a taste of self reliance. What a racist monster! Why that's just modern day slavery! Nobody should have to work for life's basic necessities. That's what the government is for.

Yup. Everything they advocate for is with one goal in mind: They feel good and morally superior. Actual improvement for the people they feel the need to “fight” for? Not happening.  But they will feel good, and that’s what’s really important.
