Best things to make in a toaster oven

Recommended Posts

One of my employees brought an old toaster oven to the office.  I've have never cooked in one.  What are some ideas for easy lunch/snacks...

I'm thinking chocolate chip cookies.

What say you?

Gotta say Chocolate Chips cookies would have been the last thing I would have thought of.  Not saying it can't be done but I never would have even thought to do so.

My German Grandmother used to cut the tip (just the skin) off the top inch or so of hot dogs and roast them in the toaster oven.

She called them Anne Franks.

Do not mean to change the subject but I do not cook at all other than sammiches.  My wife bought a microwave with an air fryer in it for the condo.  I assumed it was a way to waste an extra $50 or so on a feature we do not use.   Recently I was there alone and my neighbor brought me some fried fish and soggy fries they had made an hour before.  My wife said on the phone to try the air fryer.  I was going to toss the fries but I put a few in with the fish.  The fish was good but the fries came out like crisp potato chips.  They were amazing.  I do not usually eat fries but I put the rest in and they were as good as I ever remember having.  Also tried reheating chicken wings in it that had been baked and were not very good and it crisped them right up.  Big fan now of the air fryer.

Toaster leavings.  Pull out the bottom tray, dump onto a paper plate.  Fold paper plate and poor into your gullet.

Toaster Oven is so 1972.

If you wanna be cool, start using a Waffle Iron to make everything.

Like Panini Press, Sous Vide and the Outboard Engine blender before it, It's the haute kitchen gadget right now.

Wings and fries are two of the best that come out of the air fryer.
