The issue isn’t asking Opec + (+=Russia) to not cut production, it’s asking them to hold off on it until after the election, and threatened foreign aid if they didn’t. If the republicans take control in November I expect this situation to be the subject of the first impeachment. There isn’t a great need for an intricate investigation or drawn out hearings.
