Rusty II is 19 and can do whatever the fock he wants, and Rusty III will be 18 in September, which I suppose means the end of the divorce decree, although I'll still keep paying their health insurance, and they'll just keep the same schedule because it has been a routine for almost a decade now. I've been to Buona Beef multiple times in the Chicago area. I like the place a lot. Their giardiniera has olives in it. Not my favorite but pretty good. My favorite beef sandwich was from portillos but I think they changed up their recipe a few years back.
cmh6476 1,154 Posted February 5, 2021 Ok getting it together. Bought the deep fryer. Wings deep fried then will have various sauces and got hidden valley and chunky blue cheese. Then I'll probably get shrimp cocktail and a veggie tray. Others are bringing hawaiin sliders, 7 layer dip, buffalo chicken dip, stuffed jalapenos, and lemon bars. Aside from the bottled sauces I have, I want to make a homemade sauce, maybe just buffalo. Any go-to recipes you guys want to share?

Ps. if you are making more then 30 wings just double all ingredients. I like extra sauce so I usually double it anyways. Ps. TBayXXXVII 2,679 Posted February 5, 2021 Just found out that my brother and nephew are coming over as well as the gf's bother and his son, to watch the game. I'm now making Creole Jambalaya. Ugh. Went from something really simple to something that'll cost me $100 and 3 hours to make. At least it tastes awesome.

You don't have to follow it exactly. He makes his own stock... I just buy it. He uses fresh shrimp, I just buy it frozen and defrost it. Those two changes with greatly reduce your costs. With the amount of andouille sausage, it's pretty spicy, so I completely cut out the cayenne pepper... but that's a personal thing. If you like it spicy, this is for you. The first time I made this, I did it exactly as he did and I almost died. LOL I drank 7 bottles of water on the first bowl, but it was worth it. It was great. Also, this is a very long process. You'll see by the cook times, it's about an hour plus... but the prep time too is about that. Cutting the onions, peppers, etc... plus defrosting and peeling the shrimp, this is a 2.5 hour endeavor. Well worth it though. The ingredients aren't cheap either. Like I said, the first time I made this recipe, I did it exactly as he did. The crab and shrimp was very expensive. I think I spent over $200. I've definitely found ways to make it cheaper though. Now when I make it, I buy the stock now, which is really cheap in comparison. Buying the stock and getting the frozen shrimp (I usually just buy a bad when it's on sale), dropped that price from $75 to about $18. You'll get a lot of uses out of the seasonings. I usually buy the really big bag of the long grain rice too. After you have the rice and seasonings, the rest of the ingredients are about $75 total. Considering how much food there is, I think it's reasonable. This guy has a YouTube channel that I like to watch. Everything that I made from him came out great, especially the gumbo.
