No gas in Raleigh, NC.

We have our Member / Member golf tournament this Friday though at my club.  We gave gas golf carts.

The New York Times says that’s not true, there are no shortages or lines for gas.  You’re falling for another conspiracy theory.

That's like when they argue waitresses and waiters are being abused by their employers by forcing them to live on $300 nightly tips.  Or Uber drivers are being abused by Uber by forcing them to live on $6000 per month with no health insurance.  They just make crap up and shout everyone down.

I much prefer gas carts.  They are more expensive too.

Michingan's former governor and former Dating Game contestant. Meanwhile, our current governor, Governor Half-Wit, chose this moment of gas shortages in the southeast to spark a fight with a Canadian gas pipeline company. Such optics.

Stations in CA above $4.50/gal in some areas.

Bidens plan will probably be to get offended if anyone calls the gas shortages a “crisis”.  Twitter will close accounts doing so.  Republicans will be shamed. Such great leadership.

Just filled up and I feel lucky.  3 stations completely out. 4 others with long lines will have none tomorrow. The panic is setting in.

Consumer prices jumped at the fastest pace in more than a decade in April, surprising economists and intensifying a debate on Wall Street and in Washington over whether inflation might reach levels that would squeeze households and ultimately undermine the recovery.

Investors and politicians are worried that prices will keep climbing — potentially causing the Federal Reserve to lift interest rates sharply. That could slow economic growth and send stock prices plummeting. But some economists and central bank officials said the jump in the Consumer Price Index reflected pandemic-driven trends that would most likely prove temporary.

Stocks slumped more than 2 percent on Wednesday, their biggest decline since late February.

Hanging over the debate is America’s inflationary experience in the 1960s and 1970s, when big government spending, an oil crisis, a slow-moving Fed and the final end of the gold standard converged to send price gains to double-digit heights. The central bank got things under control only by lifting interest rates to punishing levels, at a grave cost to the housing market and ultimately the job market.

Few analysts expect a return to such huge price gains, in part because the Fed has pledged to act to keep inflation under control. But if officials are prodded to withdraw economic support quickly in order to prevent another “Great Inflation,” it could spur a downturn, as sudden Fed changes have done in the past.

This isn’t the first time it’s gotten shut down - https://www.cnbc.com/2021/05/09/colonial-pipeline-cyberattack-heres-when-it-was-previously-shut-down.html

They also had a leak in August last year where 1.2 MILLION gallons spilled like 5 miles from where I live.

So yeah, an alternative would’ve been nice.

What a Dumb Focking B’tch. Thanks for reprimanding us and getting all technical- while portions of the USA are running out of fuel. Yes, I went to 3 stations today that were totally out of fuel before I found a spot to fill my work vehicle.

And the dimwhit feels the need to correct the narrative that we have a fuel shortage?

Yeah- there’s fuel- only you can’t have it- so fact checkers can remind you we don’t have a shortage, even though I can’t obtain gas on a daily basis. Thanks for correcting me, you ignorant slut.,

Pretty stunning, gives you some real insight into the minds of these types of folks. If MSNBC tells him it's not an actual issue, that's all they need to hear.

Who cares what the bordering towns are reporting, who cares what border patrols are telling us, none of that matters.

:dunno:

I think Biden needs to bring his secret weapon into action to fight these high energy prices, I mean, his son Hunter was a WELL paid executive at a Ukrainian company, and we were assured it was due to his abilities, so come on man! Let’s get Hunter on this sh!t!!🤣
