Delta variant more transmissible than chickenpox?

Fauci himself debunked the bolded part.  The last part could be true about the variants, according to what they are saying.

Can anyone tell me:

1.  Why or how does CNN have access to an internal CDC document?

and

2.  Where I can find a specific test for the Delta variant?

Same place you can find the data for those who have covid. Nowhere.

1. It was leaked to the Washington Post and was later confirmed by the CDC.

2. I don’t think there is a specific test just for Delta-if I’m understanding your question right.

The fock do I have to do with releasing data?

I'm not asking you to release data.  I'm asking you to explain why they don't, and, if you can't why you are willing to follow them blindly.  And why you take issue with those of us who are skeptical of them when they won't release that data.

Literally the very next sentence in the article, after the stuff worms posted is...

The CDC is scheduled to publish data Friday that will back Walensky’s controversial decision to change guidance for fully vaccinated people. She said Tuesday the CDC was recommending that even fully vaccinated people wear masks indoors in places where transmission of the virus is sustained or high.

So they  haven't published the data.  Thanks for confirming my point.

Good strategy.

Both caught covid but one vaccinated.

For one Mississippi couple who caught Covid-19, their outcomes provide a growing contrast. The wife, who is vaccinated, recovered after 10 days. But her unvaccinated husband has been in the hospital for 22 days and counting.

So the vaccinations are the only differences in their medical histories?  I noticed in the article they mentioned the wife having asthma.  Also noticed that they didn't mention one word about her husband.  Kind of weird, no?  Wonder why that is?  Couldn't be because he had other ailments, could it?  Other extenuating circumstances?  No, just the vaccine, right?

Individuals who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus but become infected could harbor just as much virus as infected, unvaccinated people, according to a study published Friday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

I’m not willing to follow anyone blindly  I highly doubt they’re making it up, but you’re right that others should be able to analyze and review the data and I’m sure that will happen soon

1.  Yeah, sure they did, Swoosie.

2.  Correct.  Which means all reports you hear of "Delta variant" this and "Delta variant" that are misinformation.

Can't way one way or another.  But there's no reason they can't release the data that I can imagine.  So, why aren't they?  Saying I don't trust them, with the amount of flip flopping and changing guidance over the last year, would be an understatement.  Fauci is a liar, and the CDC is incompetent.  Why would I trust them?  Release the data and let other scientists who don't have a political agenda evaluate it.

Be nice, one of of our own works at cdc.

Peenie never had anything to say in the covid topics. I assume she's prohibited.

i had it and beat it. almost want it again. it'll become like a lil b;tch cold to me. im never wearing a mask again and my immune system will be superior. meanwhile cucks will be on their 10th vaccine shot with 3 masks on, a tumor growing out of their head and then probably croak from the next time they get a common cold.

Do we know she works there?  I knew she was a lab person but didn't know where.  But I don't care.  The CDC has been incompetent since day one on this virus.  That doesn't mean Peenie.  She's a lab rat.  She's not the one making the decisions and setting policy.   If she were she wouldn't be constantly complaining about money.

Since you asked a question that gave me pause… I went off on a google search to see how they detect the delta variant and more info. I’m going to post a link from the American Lung Association (which hopefully you don’t consider a "liberal rag" for your purview:

https://www.lung.org/blog/covid-19-delta-variant

But by all means, feel free to follow someone on Twitter that "knows better" if that helps you sleep at night.

Exactly.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's better to get it and let your immune system do it's thing. Natural immunity > vaccine, for low/no risk individuals and society as a whole.

Please explain.  The reported (and likely inflated) "vaccine death rate" is far lower than the death rate from the virus.    One could argue "well it's not guaranteed you'll get the virus" but you're throwing that out the window with this claim.   And don't give me the "don't know the long-term effects" excuse, you don't know the long-term effects of covid either.

Right, and given the messaging and idiocy coming from our government, there's gonna be a lot of pushback to new restrictions.  Most people are ignoring the new mask mandates already.
