So what?

You’re saying people shouldn’t be so loyal to their party. So that makes me a good guy, right?

Do you vote for the person you feel is best for the position every time you vote or do you vote all republican normally?  What you're registered as doesn't really matter, it's how you vote.

I have voted for a lot of parties at one time or another. At this point in history I don’t see voting for a democrat on a state or federal level. Even if they are the better candidate. By voting  for them I vote for the fringe of the Democratic Party being empowered, because  that’s who is running things. When they start acting normal I’ll consider them.

I've been pleasantly wrong about how I thought this would play out. I though the Russian military would prevail, only to find itself caught up in the grind of a never-ending, bloody, withering insurgency, but now it appears the Ukers are straight-up winning. They even shelled a few places over in Russia.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/ukrainian-officials-skeptical-russian-pledge-074407601.html

The part I seem to have gotten right is the breakdown between Putin and those around him.

Quote

U.S. intelligence officials have determined that Russian President Vladimir Putin is being misinformed by his advisers about Russian forces’ performance in Ukraine, according to a U.S. official. The official, who spoke to the Associated Press on the condition of anonymity Wednesday to discuss the recently declassified intelligence finding, said Putin has felt misled by the Russian military and there is now tension between him and his military leaders. The official did not detail evidence for how U.S. intelligence made the determination.

The findings demonstrate a “clear breakdown in the flow of accurate information” to Putin, and show that Putin’s senior advisers are "afraid to tell him the truth,” the official said.

At some point, Putin has to come to the realization that this is an historic fock up!

Or it's going exactly as he planned.  Maybe he just wanted to kill a bunch of Ukranians to get them to agree to his demands, he gets the lands in the East in order to gain more control over energy.

FYI there's a lot of good footage on Tik-Tok. You have to weed out the fakes from the real. But it's pretty easy to do so.

Great. The Russians hit a clearly marked Red Cross facility. Twice. Either they are full on aholes or they have no idea how to aim their weapons.

It is really comical to hear the MSM and US politicians talk about disinformation.

Seems impossible to know the truth anymore.  A reporter could be on location showing us what is happing live and there would still be people calling it fake or biased.  Between that happening and the media actually feeding the public BS, who knows what to believe?

Of course, but just because it is live doesn’t mean it is true.

I honestly haven't seen anyone that likes Biden.  I am sure they are out there.  But I haven't came across any at this stage.  Most people I see that voted for Biden say he sucks, but are okay with it because he isn't Trump.  Some say straight out that they should have just voted for Trump and would if they had a do over.

My Father never voted R in his life.  He hates Trump but is so unhappy with Biden that he said if any halfway decent Republican runs he would vote for him.  I told him not to worry.  By the time the MSM gets done with any R candidate for POTUS he will hate them too.

When talking about MMGW on the news I’ve seen the same iceberg fall dozens of times.

When Trump was accused of putting children in cages they used photos from the Obama era.

Neither of your examples are live though.  That makes my point though.  We could literally be watching something live and we can't trust it because we've been burned so many times.  How would we know it's not old footage being played off as live.

US commander admits Biden's deterrence strategy failed in Ukraine

US general admits Biden's deterrence strategy to prevent Russian invasion of Ukraine failed

Quote

"You as a combatant commander felt that you were part of an inter-agency effort intended to deter Vladimir Putin from invading Ukraine?" Gallagher asked.

"That's correct," Wolters responded. "Deter and dissuade."

"Would it be fair to say that deterrence failed in Ukraine?" Gallagher pressed.

"Number one I would say that NATO's solidarity remained," Wolters began, before being cut off by Gallagher pressing for a direct answer to the question.

"I can't argue with your conclusion," Wolters finished.

Yep.

biden is always ten steps behind the rest of the world. And in this country domestically.

I'm sure he hasn't even thought of what would happen if China pushes the limit on Taiwan. He'll wait until 30 days in to start thinking about it. And he will fail again.

He has failed so miserably as president, and yet the libs still back him. Sad that the libs would rather live in their own shlt than have a successful president in office like Trump.

Vladimir Putin - "Russia will ONLY accept payment for oil and gas in RUBLES!"

Germany - "That's a breach of contract. So, no."

(hours before payment due) Vladimir Putin - "Russia will continue accepting payment in American dollars... for now. Bluff failed."

On tonight’s Tucker, he played a clip of Nigel Farage speaking to parliament in 2014 predicting this would happen if the EU and NATO kept messing with Ukraine. This was all avoidable.

Of course, by pulling down your panties, bending over and letting Putin buttjoust you over and over until you give up all hope of getting away from him.

Sad that you favor autocracy and tyranny over democracy and freedom, you filthy Putin apologist.

Chickenhawk. When are you heading over? They’re taking volunteers. I bet you haven’t even sent a dime to help those people. I hope your kids get drafted.

So you're all financially supportive of Ukraine yet criticize nations of their own free will joining NATO and contend that Russia was justified in starting the biggest European war since World War II. Get your priorities straight, boy

They knew the consequences, they knew who they were dealing with.  They did it anyway. I feel sorry for the innocent people caught up in this. The Ukraine government and oligarchs can go to  hell. And you’re a Chickenhawk like Bush and Cheney. And Hillary.

The US has authorized another 500 million to Ukraine. That’s enough. Blinken should be telling Zellinsky on the DL he has to cut a deal. This thing could drag on for years.  Giving more weapons to them doesn’t help end this. Putin is not going to retreat.

Mine too. My Mother is pretty likely to vote R but my father was always big in the union.   He does not like Biden at all but gets all his info from network newscasts.  They will crucify the R candidate like they did Trump, Romney, McCain The Bushes and Reagan.  He will listen to the lies.

I want peace. DGAF about who wins. Russia made their point, and as long as Putin is in charge we shouldn’t have an issue with NATO expanding eastward. That’s settled.  Now it’s just a matter of something tangible he has to have to save face.  Let’s see if we can make that happen.

And Ukraine will agree to terms stating they will not join NATO and will not be militarized with forward-facing weapons.  All it took was this catastrophe to get what Putin wanted to begin with and the West after it is all said and done will still tell their populace that they somehow won.

It's baffling.

Russia can get bent. Well, not necessarily "Russians" but Putin. You don't invade countries for no reason.

The longer this drags on, the invaders pay more of a price. So hopefully the collective action of the stalemate and the half-closed spigot of Russia's economy will kick in and force a withdrawl.

You are smarter than this.  You think Putin just woke up one morning and out of the blue said, I think I will unnecessarily invade Ukraine?  This has been building up for years.  Russia for decades has expressed its concern with the eastern expansion of NATO.  To their chagrin, the west chose not to listen.  Intentionally because the west wants war with Russia.  Now Ukraine smolders.

Putin will get what he wants.  What he demanded.  But it took this to get there.  That's the shame of it all.  This was completely avoidable.

Anyone can sit in here and type that you can't just invade another nation.  Well, guess what.  Yes, you can.
