I don't have a problem with what he said. I do have a problem with the ensuing useless backpedaling. If you're going to toss that out there, you might as well own it.

When the wave of Russian boys come home maimed, in coffins or not at all, the people there will figure out how much Putin focked up on this deal. 

There are probably dudes in Putin's inner circle thinking it's time for him to go.

Regardless of how it all turns out, and I'm starting to think Ukraine is winning this thing, this invasion will go down as one of history's biggest military blunders.

Here's a Gulf War story. I spent one night of my life as a POW guard. When the Iraqs surrendered, we didn't do anything like this. This was the middle of the desert. They were already disarmed when we got them. We gave them food and medical care if needed. We put them inside a circle and surrounded them with concertina wire, outside the circle we sat in our trucks all facing inwards with the lights on. Then we sat in the trucks for a shift and when we were relieved, went to our tents to sleep. By the time I woke up, they were gone.

Soldiers should treat POW's well for a few reasons... mainly so they aren't incentivized to treat your POW's like that.  Also so enemy soldiers are more likely to surrender.

That was disgusting. Hopefully it was an anomaly among Ukraine soldiers, but that video has gone viral so it's likely Ukraine POW's are getting badly treated in retaliation.
