So you should decide what counseling, medicine, or surgery somebody else or their kids need? Now imagine somebody even dumber than this. A Republican legislator for example. Until trans care gets away from this crackpot notion that young children can self-diagnosis and the 'medical examination' criteria is simply to affirm the self-diagnosis, the practice needs to be banned completely.  Establish standards with real medical and mental evaluations and treatments catered to the severity of those.  Rubber-stamping children's feelings (which are easily manipulated by acceptance in social media, teachers and/or parents) and fast-tracking them towards the most brutal and permanent mutilations, is not medicine.  It is insanity.
