Biden going prime time to spotlight fight to protect democracy following jabs at ‘MAGA Republicans’

Recommended Posts

Big thumbs up to Crack Hitler last night for giving the most evil, rambling, incoherent, drizzling sh!ts of a speech since Mr Hankey on Ambien.

It was like watching Frankie MacDonald give the latest weather report.

The 2nd link was from the Trump White House. Of course it cherry-picked facts. If you cared to really investigate the history of why they changed it after 100 years, perhaps you could look up the assassination of President Garfield… which led to the Pendleton Act.

And that is a law passed by Congress, which Trump seemed to think he can overturn with an Executive order allowing him to fire 50,000 career government employees and replace them with political appointees. Again, look back to President Garfield as to why that might be a pretty terrible idea.

in the spirit of the pendleton act, we need free speech reform to fix how the mainstream press is dominated and controlled by one political party.

Why am I not surprised that Ben Shapiro cares more about the lighting than about the content of the speech? I AM surprised that people still follow him. What a tool.

You should be glad the focus is on the lighting and not the speech. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

Actually, check out the 2003 HEROES act and the 1965 higher education act. Both give the executive branch authority for student debt forgiveness. I’m sure there will be legal challenges, but I doubt they will be successful. Believe it or not, Congress has delegated substantial financial authority to the executive branch. The President doesn’t need Congress to pass a new law every time he runs out of pencils.

Biden has not done anything fascistic. If you watched his speech, he spoke out against “MAGA Republicans” for a specific reason: political violence. Instead of violence, he encouraged people to VOTE. This is the opposite of fascism. If you’ve got a problem with the president telling people to stop using political violence and to start voting, then perhaps you don’t want to live in a democracy?

Authority during a national emergency.  What’s the emergency? Also, is there any political violence on the left?

So basically what he's doing is appealing to true conservatives. They dropped Trump like a hot rock.

Like Mitt and Bush?

True conservatives. Bush is a neocon.

So who are you referring to? And what’s the difference between a true conservative platform and the America first/ MAGA platform?

There weren't enough hand selects in the crowd yesterday to make enough noise to drown out the MAGA protestors next door.  Contrast that with the HUGE crowd that is going to be in Pennsylvania tomorrow night to hear Trump speak.  It's like Ryan Leaf vs. Tom Brady.  Biden can't hold Trump's jockstrap when it comes to popularity or governing.

I'm not keen on being labeled a traitor. Biden* finally crossed the line that makes me hate him at a personal level and not simply his policies or the fools he surrounds himself with.

I'm probably coming back soon. China focking suck now, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao were fine leaders but Xi Jinping is an ongoing disaster. Meanwhile there are teaching shortages and states that offer those jobs to veterans.

For those of you who read my thread about Sam Harris saying the quiet part out loud (the media stifled the Hunter Biden computer story in 2020 to help Biden get elected), Harris is still neck deep in TDS.  Sad really. :(

The video below is all you need to know about Shapiro. I’m not going to waste my time listening to his podcast when it’s clear he can’t even answer simple questions from a reporter, so he resorts to name calling and running away. He only appears “smart” to idiots. It beggars belief that he did no research on his interviewer, had no awareness of the British format of adversarial questions, and went into a complete meltdown. That is NOT the behavior of an intelligent person. It’s what happens when you are used to preaching to the choir and getting on Fox News where you never ever ever get a tough question.

I’m sure on his podcast, he can say whatever he wants, with nobody to push back or question his absurd assertions. His listeners (assuming they are the same morons who post fawning replies on all his tweets) are completely uncritical of anything he says, believing whatever he says because it fits into their predetermined worldview. Listening to an entire podcast of his would be no more intellectually stimulating than watching an episode of Barney.

It’s just wild watching Biden and his leftist followers point a finger at the right and MAGA Americans for political violence after  what we have witnessed over the last 6 years.  It’s why they cling so hard to Jan 6.  We all know who did the violence.  We watched it.

And this.

It's way past time for us normal folks to take a stand. Hopefully November is the start, not the end. The left needs to be stripped of all power, their policies are dangerous and unAmerican. They can't be reasoned with.
