I don't disagree that Trump attracts more fans than Biden, nor that some of them are culty.  But the Left has its own pseudo-religions, albeit more so movements than people (since Saint Barack anyway).  Climate change is absolutely a cult, as is TDS -- there are many people, yourself I suspect included, who upon hearing that Trump cut down a branch to save a kitten, would vilify him for hating trees.

Climate change is absolutely a cult.  The leaders are in it for the money.  The sheeple push self-flagellation for themselves and the species.  What is lacking is the pursuit of actual solutions.  If we had those, we'd all have a mini nuclear reactor in our house by now, and prior to that we would have heavily pushed natural gas as a stopgap.  Also we would have invested heavily in carbon-removing technologies (although that appears to be finally changing).  Instead we continue to pursue the, pardon the pun, quixotic chase of windmills.  And solar.  Nice complements but nowhere near what's needed as the workhorse of an ever-increasing power grid.  When the powers that be actually try to solve the problem, I'll believe it is an existential crisis.  Until then it seems more like a money and power/control grab.

Regarding the rest:  chemotherapy is very similar to bleach; unless you work in this area I'm pretty confident I know more about it than you do.  Although I think you mentioned you maybe had cancer at a young age?  If so and you had chemo, you should know this.  It is napalm strafing your body; the only difference is that it moderately prefers to destroy faster-growing cells, like cancer.  And hair follicles.  And your digestive tract.  Etc.  You take out the good with the bad, and hope you get all of the bad before the good breaks down.

And yes, I absolutely discuss/recommend paths of treatment with my doctors.  Just this week I had my second consecutive blood test with high calcium levels.  I looked into it before meeting the PA; the leading cause is an issue with your parathyroid.  My thyroid gland got hacked up in my surgery so that maybe makes sense.  I mentioned it to her and she said, "hmm, you're right, there is a blood test for that, let me add it to the sample they took today."  She didn't know, or forgot, because she is an oncology PA, not an endocrine expert.  If you expect your medical team to know all things about all disciplines, you have an unrealistic expectation on them.

As an aside, the test came back normal.  Which is maybe a bad thing, because if it isn't the parathyroid, another possible cause is cancer in your lungs (which is where mine had metastasized to) or in your blood, leeching calcium out of your bones.  I've got my next scan in 2.5 weeks and I'll be a little nervous going into that one, more so than usual.  Even if it is clear I'm going to educate myself on blood cancers going into the meeting with the onc.

We'll have to disagree about chemo being like bleach.  And besides Trump wasn't thinking of chemo he was thinking of bleach, a disinfectant as he put it.  And beyond the actual statements, the sheer stupidity to ask doctors if they had thought of this or that on national tv during a press conference is beyond ridiculous.
