Any Steven Crowder fans here?

Recommended Posts

I know I seen him referenced here a few times and he can have some good talking points but this man is a huge POS.  I don't know how anyone could respect a person like this.

I’m not making any judgment on these videos, not getting a full picture of anything . In the 2nd one he keeps saying she won’t put on the gloves , metaphorically or latex?”Walk the dogs, put on some gloves”.  I don’t like him but wouldn’t want the world to see me in a low point

Crowder has money for two vehicles and in this discussion he looks like an ass but well...

He is looking like a control freak with his wife and also professionally with Dave Landau, as Dave tells it.

A few weeks back he ahd a falling out with The Daily Wire too. Things seem to be falling apart with him personally and professionally right now.

Does there really need to be any more to see how terrible he treated his wife?

Yeah, what does "put on the gloves" mean? He really does want her wearing the damn gloves, it's really important to him, whatever he's talking about.

Maybe it's some gross/kinky sex thing that she doesn't like doing and we need joneo to explain to us.

I don't know much about him, but I thought his gig was logical argumentation.  Him saying there is only one solution to a transportation quandry at his home belies that.  He could purchase another vehivle.  he could get an Uber.  he could catch a ride with family or friends, presuming he has some.

Him telling her to "watch it" sounded like a threat rooted in past behavior.  As if she was supposed to know what comes next.   I would be making suppositions from this clip, but from this clip i take him to be mentally and perhaps physically abusive of his wife.  That he is so while she is pregnant indicates to me he is a person of very low character though behaving in that manner to a non-pregnant women would also be very wrong.

How did this clip find its way to the outside world.  Presumably he did not release it, so it came from her?

A gentleman and a good husband would have gotten off of his ass and said he would drive her and they could shop together.  He would have said he does not want her lifting heavy groceries, particularly a bag of grill pellets.

The whole thing about the gloves, I think, was him wanting her to give the dog some medication.  She was concerned about handling the pills being pregnant, and instead of him doing it himself, he wanted her to put gloves on and do it herself.

Maybe it was a doggie suppository?

Married couple have an argument oh the horror.

Is it normal for men to treat their wife like then during an argument?  It was was obviously a toxic relationship since she's divorcing him now.

Maybe his ratings are down so he put up a camera and microphone in house and got in an argument with his wife so people will start talking about him again?

Beats me. That was a pretty clean set up. Camera in the perfect spot, clear audio. All stayed in focus. Hmm....🤔

Guy comes across as an ass, but I would want to see video when she was the one not being all laid back. I wonder how long they were married for?

Most home camera systems are pretty good.  They have video with audio and save everything to the cloud.  Pretty common to have them facing at any entrance to the home.

Like I said earlier I don’t like Crowder and he’s acting like a but there’s just something about the video missing. She’s extremely calm , maybe that’s a learnt behavior by the way he acts I dunno, I’d like to see what went on 5-10 minutes before this leaked video.

and what about those damn gloves

A cynic might speculate that she worked the word "abusive" in at the end, to get it on tape.

That being said, the "watch it" sequence at the end was troubling.

In general it looked like an argument between two people at the end of their relationship.  He was just griping, and she didn't care enough to argue back.

As soon as he said "Wifely duties" I knew the guy was a douche, and then in part 2 he's talking about how she needs to respect the man.

Good point. "I'm sick of you and here's why." vs. "I'm sick of you and please go away.".

That was very odd.  How many married couples only have one vehicle now?  Also, who tells their pregnant wife to go get groceries while you sit on your ass and then tell her to take an Uber to do it.

Often time it takes two to tango in a shltty relationship.

I remember my sister and brother in law's downfall. Took a long while before it finally crashed and burned. My brother in law tried but in all the wrong ways. The one thing he couldn't give up was being a work-a-holic. And the one thing my sister was unwilling to give up was wanting the kids to be living with them forever. So as they deteriorated, she took the passive aggressive route to get under his skin, while he tried hard (although it was lame how he tried because he is an overbearing person),  he would snap when he had too many drinks and yell and then storm off to the local bar to watch a band and get more drunk. Much better than hitting her though.

Years ago they were like my best friends to hang out with, we had a ton of fun hanging out together. Then after all that time passed they just got annoying to be around. I blamed them both for how they acted in that relationship. Then of course, when all was said and done, since he made so much money, she took him to the bank on the divorce. They are finally both happy now though. Sometimes people need to either just suck it up and get over themselves and decide to make it work together, or make a quick break of things without all the drama.

Thing is, she signed up for some type of relationship with that guy. Whatever it was. Same the other way around. If early on she was going to buy herself a car and he told her "No, you can't. I won't allow it.", then I blame her just as much for staying with him.

100% asshat.

But she's part of the problem too. "I'm going to let it go". "I love you". "I will pick up what you want."   Fok that.

Sounds like a couple losers that deserve each other.

Yeah, married couple having an argument.  I'm tired of these  "OMG!  LOOK AT THE MAN MENTALLY ABUSING HIS WIFE!".  These videos without context are meant for only one thing: to portray the target in a bad light.   Let's look at ALL of the arguments they have both ever had and see if that changes anything. Everyone knows women know how to push buttons, especially if they're acting for the camera, but no one ever says, "WTF?  Why is she pushing his buttons".

I've had my share of blowouts and not a single one of them would have made me look good under any circumstances - but that goes for my wife as well.  Not saying Crowder didn't "look" like a douche - the last year for him has been disastrous - but something is missing here.  Pregnant women can be aholes too.  Let's get some full context but this looks like a setup. Feels like this she released this video because I have no idea how it could have gotten out on the internet without her involvement - Crowder certainly wouldn't have done it.

She released that to the public. Real nice, so now his kids can look at it someday.  What a POS she is.

She did??  WTF?

That's BS.  She's looking for a payday in the eventual divorce and THAT ought to be something the court looks at when looking at the whole picture.

Judge: "Oh wait, he was being an a$$ but don't you think releasing this to the public says anything about you being a vindictive biatch?  How is a vindictive biatch any better than a guy being an a$$?"

I don’t see how else it got out there. It’s at their house. And of course she was the calm, rational one. Another case of when two a-holes collide.

I like Crowder as a pundit, comedian, and social media personality but I sure as hell won't defend his behavior here.
