Pat Sajak is awful. He’s a compiler (Frank Gore type) I suppose but his banter is cringy. I’d put Dawson, Bob Eubanks, or Steve Harvey over him.

Just wanted to see what folks would say. lol. Although, I do remember watching Tic Tac Dough while at my grandma's, waiting for my mom to get off work. Musta been around 5pm central start time.

Pat Sajak although on a long time, wasn't as "good of a host" as the 4 I just listed. imo.

what happened was Pat Sajak had a TV talk show and brought in Rush Limbaugh to guest host.  Rush was just a radio guy at the time but he did very well which led to Rush starring in his own TV talk show.  Rush's TV production team included Roger Ailes and others who realized the format would actually function great as its own right wing network, so the production team went on to found Fox news.

All of that happened because Pat Sajak gave Rush Limbaugh a chance.

In a former life I was a game show host on the college / corporate circuit- I wore a oversized powder blue suit with a sheer top. Usually yellow sometimes black. It was the 80’s/early 90’s !!! Had extremely long hair. 
 

I have revised the roll but not nearly as fun back in the day.

I think the "consensus" guy that most of us are leaving out is Pat Sajak.
