Based on what is being shown so far, and if there are no other mitigating factors nor impactful new information presented, and if I was on that jury, I'd lean towards voting guilty. 

I might be the only Conservative on this entire forum that has said as much. 

That being said, this entire situation shows how the J6 Hearings totally backfired. The first night was the best chance to reveal some kind of "smoking gun" to turn the public against Trump, particularly moderates, undecideds and independents. Instead it was more of the same. It was a proxy for a "Third Impeachment" And the ratings indicate that the general public was tired of it all. 

You can't chase someone in public for 8 years straight, keep shouting out that you finally got him, then never get him, without totally desensitizing the average working class American. That's what happened. Bizarrely the one time that the DNC finally got Trump into the jackpot, all the corruption, lies and identity politics used against The Big Cheeto before just wore down viewers. 

In effect, Team Blue made the general public stop caring. "OK, he's a scumbag. We get it already, he's a scumbag. So what's new today?"

The radical left, hilariously, gave Trump his best overall media optics defense pathway. Now he might be found guilty on this later, but most Americans are just burned out on Orange Man Bad all the time. I'm not rationalizing his actions, he self inflicted a huge mess here on his own. But the DNC "cried wolf" one too many times, so that when there was finally a wolf, no one gave a single damn about it. 

Beating the big bad orange drum is going to last how long? For a decade? There's a real "saturation effect" going on here.

It's hilarious, the one time the DNC actually got Trump in the cross hairs, the general public is so exhausted from the past 8 years, that they stopped paying attention.

I wish I could have seen Garlands face when it was revealed that Biden had documents as well.  I surmise this revelation was at first just a crushing blow for him.  But he masterfully manipulated it so that he could still weaponize the issue against Trump, while allowin Biden to slide on by.

I give the Democrats alot of credit for builing a rather effective system behind the scenes to protect their power structure.  I think they over did it a little and wasted an awful lot of back ground currency to get after Trump.  I hesitate to suggest they "shot their load".  But it must be infuriating that they cannot seem to crush Trump.

Makes me all the more want Trump as president. Is that a great reason? Maybe not, but I trust that Trump can manage effectively in the White House for another 4 years while destroying liberals minds in the process.
