Really good segment by Smerconish.  A lot of older men are dating younger women now.  As dating moves to more toward meeting online, it's becoming even more about physical attractiveness of the woman, and for the guys you better be attractive or financially successful.  Well, most guys who are successful are probably a little older because it took awhile and now they want the "prize" of a younger, attractive woman.  But they make some good points about how this takes certain aspects of meeting people out of it and leads to a lot of people being alone.

The Daily Wire hired Brett Cooper, someone who was trained as an actress since she was a child, in part, to appeal to younger Conservative men. 

She's attractive, but she's not so pretty that she seems inaccessible. She's feminine and spunky, but she's not overbearing. She's playing a role. Who actually knows how she really is in real life. It's "endearing" to see her pretend to be frightened by a horror video game. But she's also thin, clean cut, neat and not some blue haired overweight SJW with hair armpits and covered in tattoos and nose rings. 

"Conservative" will be seen IMHO as desirable to some because it's now "counter culture" 

If everyone at college has purple hair and shouting about climate change, then being "straight edge" is actually an act of rebellion. As bizarre as that sounds. 

Conservative lends the impression of being reliable. And in a bad economy, that's a huge driver for women who want commitment. They want someone reliable. Won't cheat on them. Won't hit them. Won't abuse them. Will pay the bills. Will work hard. That doesn't line up well with men on the hard left who see themselves as perpetual victims. 

There is likely to be a clear distinction between young men who are traditional liberal and those who are radical left to Progressive. I don't think the former will have as many problems as the latter, but Big Education keeps pumping out the latter. 

Location also matters. If women are in Big Blue Cities, they are more likely to meet young men who are radical leftists. People are going to "date" within a 50 mile radius of their location. If your proximity is chock full of SJW type woke males, then it's likely easy to be disenchanted. Also the older women get, the more likely the better long term candidates get taken off the market. The majority of young good looking guys who look like they are going to make good money are grabbed fast and early. 

Someone who who cares about process and routine, like many Conservatives, are more likely to work out, take care of themselves, and get their education and money right when they are younger. Those who want to protest outside of SCOTUS Kavanaugh's house at 10AM on a weekday are likely to be Earthy artistic SJW types who are less likely to have their money and education in order. 

What young women want for sex is not the same as what they want for commitment. The video in the OP is talking about commitment.

BTW not long ago your assertion that the lifetime earnings difference for high school and college grads was indeed correct.  My understanding is that current metrics have the gap closing rapidly.  Apparently six years of loans to expensive schools to get useless 4 year liberal arts degrees to become a barrista is not a more sound life model than going to a trade school, accumulating almost no debt, and going into a high paying trade.  Have you priced your plummer, electrician, or appliance repairman lately?
