She plays Mrs. Dubose in the touring group, and I played Boo Radley in a local production of "To Kill a Mockingbird," so that was kind of cool moment for me. I'd sent her a message to her Facebook page and included a picture of me all dressed up as Boo, and she remember seeing that and said, "Oh! You're that guy!"

I really enjoyed playing the part, even though I only had two lines. I get the acting bug now.

I taught my children to give respect and dignity to those who are respectful and dignified.  Whether they find particular actions dignified or respectful will fall to them as they move forward through their lives. In my limited experience the transexual and transvestite communities (which are hardly the same community) have folks running the gamut from respectful and dignified to  quite the opposite, as do all communities from what I have seen.
