Being the greatest album of all time, and a double album, it would by default also be the greatest double album of all time.

That's four; take a class on counting (and then one on music appreciation) and get back to us.

I gave a great selection.  I probably listened to the Pearl Jam one the most though.

Putting aside the matter of taste, just the fact that you only named live albums is a fail.  A live album could never be the greatest album of all time, just because of its technical limitations.

London Calling

I tend to think of Sandanista as the Clash's "White Album"--but it was a triple.

Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness was also one of my favorites.

I'll take Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti as the greatest double album though.

The original release was not a double album.

Do deluxe edition re-releases count?

Double enough for me...  Same release date is good enough for me...

Eat A Peach (which I love) is half live.

But you had to pay for both. Not a double album.
