Do you see where I said I don't care.  Unless YouTube is banning every felon, then f-them.  They are not banning him for his actions.  They are banning him for his message, one thst violates none of their rules..YouTube is making up rules and applying them arbitrarily, even if he is guilty.   These corporations can't be political arms of the government or political party.

If they were following their policies and implementing it fairly, I would be fine with it.   Currently it is making up rules and applying them arbitrarily.   So it is political and authoritarian directed at a specific message.   YouTube does not have a policy in place and are not enforcing it on anyone else.  So in the present, it is not ok....even if he were found guilty in the future.

I don’t think anyone expected criminal charges, was probably past statute of limitations.  An internal investigation at the company he worked at did find that “informal complaints were not properly addressed”

What are you talking about.   They took it to the police who questioned Brand.  There were no statue of limitations.  You want to move the goal posts back to it was not properly addressed 20 plus years ago?  Why would some television station spend a year investigating just to come up with such a petty conclusion?   The answer is simple....the authoritarian state uses every available means to shut up dissenting voices.  You really wonder why I use the terms bootlicker?

Who is “they”?  Police may have been investigating but I don’t see that the accusers were ever really interested in criminal charges 20 years later when they’re not going to be able to prove it in a criminal trial.  Keep in mind one of the accusers said the police were in fact contacted when it happened, they just did not press charges.
