Just because our society has evolved to the point where young people feel more comfortable being who they are and are not ashamed to address any emotional issues doesn't mean an entire generation has gone soft to the point at which it wouldn't answer this country's call to protect itself. 

The bigger issue is MAGAturds continually warping facts and making mountains out of molehills - like believing entire cities were burning in summer 2020, that Biden couldn't have gotten 81 million votes, that Antifa is some powerful organization and that BLM is a terrorist movement.

I can't imagine we would ever need enough bodies to necessitate a draft, not with the recruits and technology we have.  Nonetheless my wife was asking me today about my son and looking at houses in New Zealand.

Good. Part of the deal of living here is after 18 you can be drafted. Been that way even before you decided to have kids. If you don’t like it then GTFO. Pretty simple.

I am not really worried right now. 

However, I think it's funny when threads like this come up when they are two years old. 

Like...do people just sit around and search for threads like this? Had this thread lived rent free in folks heads for two years? What sparks that "Hey, I need to bump that draft thread" need? 

I am posting it in this thread because of course it's here, but it happens ALL the time with other threads too, something YEARS old gets bumped...who remembers that someone posted about a certain subject YEARS later? 

Anyways, I am not currently worried about the draft, but we will see as time goes on. My MIL is worried and has told me, "We can't let them take our boy." My son is 23 next month.

I searched for WW3, because you Magas were constantly talking about Biden getting us into WW3 and Trump was going to save us.  I thought this draft thread was interesting as it was brought up during Biden.

No need for a draft now that the Military is returning to focus on military things.    All branches of the service have already met their 2025 recruiting goals months ahead of schedule.     So the trend of missing recruiting goals every year under the Biden administration has been reversed in less than 6 months. 

Why?

Recruiting during the Biden administration:   drag queens, entertainment, being able to tell your story, expressing your individualism

Recruiting during the Trump administration:   skills, honor, duty, service, loyalty, patriotism, courage
