Milei, a social conservative with ties to the American right, opposes abortion rights and has called climate change a “lie of socialism.” He has promised to slash government spending by closing Argentina’s ministries of culture, education, and diversity, and by eliminating public subsidies.

“Make Argentina great again!” Trump posted on his platform Truth Social Sunday, in reaction to Milei’s win. “I am very proud of you,” he wrote.

He’s actually very libertarian from what I understand: Which, if true, means that whatever his personal opinion on social issues like abortion and LGBT, he won’t attempt to impose them on others. That would distinguish him considerably from the majority of American far right conservatives. But we’ll see if that is true.

Also, it's your side of the aisle that is trying to impose your will on the people.  I'd call it "authoritarian leftist" but "authoritarian" is implied when you're speaking of liberals an leftists.  They all espouse to move to the same endpoint: Socialism/Marxism/Communism.  And that is definitely authoritarian - and deadly - ideology.

Climate has been changing since the earth was created.  No one is denying this.  Stop being disingenuous. Man-made climate change is disastrous for the human race and we need to take immediate action to alleviate it if we can. What that action should be is open to debate. There’s no cult. Anyone who denies the reality of man-made climate change as an existential crisis, with no connection to natural climate change, deserves to be demonized.

• I don't know if the pope is a leftist... I think the Catholic Church is just saying what they need to say, to keep the Leftist's off their backs.  It's not working though, as we see in the Geek Club, so I'm not sure what they're really accomplishing.
